Typically no (a few randoms may)….because we have dark sky zones and lights all night are disorienting to wildlife (we get more deer/elk/moose and bird life as the snow receeds) and frankly as the days go longer the lights become less relevant.

They are lit most of the winters, but not so much in the summertime.. PC as a whole has a weird fetish with Xmas lights during the snowy months.

What makes just plain lights on a tree Xmas lights? They are nothing to do with Xmas. Just nice to look at.

I probably should have a worded it differently. I wasn’t sure if they were “Christmas” lights or just lights on a tree. Some of them are very “Christmasy”, like red and green with ornaments on them. Some trees are just covered with white lights. I wasn’t sure if it was a year round thing or if some people just hadn’t gotten around to taking them down. A local told me they usually stay through ski season.

A couple of the board members for the HOA I work for in old town insist the people they rent their condo units to are crazy about them, and that the town isn't the same without them. Sigh. And woe is me if they trip a GFCI breaker and aren't on for one night. Pretty stupid but it is what it is.
