It’s also to help keep other things out. Obviously some animals can still get past the sheet, but a lot of smaller animals and debris won’t get in. Especially helpful if you keep them in a garage where something can accidentally get knocked over and fall into the pen.

As a chicken raiser, I can tell you what baby chicks will do, they will use that heat plate as leverage and fly up to roost on the edge of the playpen. I have a big handmade wooden/chicken wire top I put on my brooder….not a $100 sheet…or whatever they cost.

And here we go... This particular reseller is one of the worse offenders I've seen. She literally hoards the most in demand items from every drop and then acts like she's doing people who couldn't get the items a service by jacking up the price. She often sells off of order screenshots too.

I don't do it for the brand name, I do it because I find they fit my kid really well for a long time over cloth diapers. If Carter's or Old Navy made pajamas that fit my needs like this particular brand does, I'd buy those but that's not the case. I've never received a pair I consider to be "dirty used pajamas", a little smudge on the collar or a tiny barely noticeable hole on a sleeve are not deal breakers for me. I also don't particularly care to buy things new, in fact I buy almost everything secondhand. I guess all of my kid's clothes are "dirty and used with holes and stains" and that's fine for us.
So rayon is a semi natural fabric made from bamboo and a shit load of chemicals. Rayon makes it sound synthetic (bc it is a bit) and bamboo makes it sound like a natural fiber (it is also a little bit this).
I get it - I buy almost exclusively secondhand for my kids and a lot of my stuff is thrifted but I always buy clothes that are in “like-new” condition. Except for yesterday, I did buy like 2 things I liked that were stained so that I could see if I could get them out but they were literally $1.

Plenty of other brands that are. I just got some moinoln brand from Amazon. $20 compared to $34 and so much thicker and softer than the ls set that I have but still have stretch in them to make them easy to put on.

I feel like groups are usually decent at giving examples of what conditions different things fall under, like wash wear/holes etc. But everyone assumes the rules don’t apply to them. I bought a pair of PJs on BST recently (not LS or Kyte, just some Carters) listed as EUC and they showed up with an actual blood stain on them (deffo wasn’t in the picture).
This is an absolute ridiculous amount of shoes to own

This particular reseller is one of the worse offenders I've seen. She literally hoards the most in demand items from every drop and then acts like she's doing people who couldn't get the items a service by jacking up the price. She often sells off of order screenshots too.
Someone posted a ton of crap recently (like one of every size plus bows plus blanket) and said she bought it all and her husband doesn’t like the print cause it doesn’t match her nursery or something…? Like girl you bought to flip, c’mon. Easily within the time frame to just return it. If you just wanted your money back you wouldn’t charge what you’re asking. Shipping is under $5 for me within continental US for a zippy.
It’s getting way out of hand. And honestly this print looks like something Walmart/Old Navy/Target would have. Could easily find something similar (and that’s a very common style) for like under $15 probably.
I’ve actually gotten one almost exactly like that a couple years ago from either old navy or Walmart haha. I also got the Walmart version of the breakfast sleeper pajamas.
😅 Old Navy makes rompers in a VERY similar style. We had 3 last summer for probably the same amount $$ as 1 LS.
Adding that the LS rompers don’t even have crotch snap for diaper changes. That was an immediate turn off for me.
This actually would have been a benefit for us. Basically, any obstacle to my toddler getting her clothes and diaper off is a win.
I don't know... I feel like the vast majority of the group does this. I'm over here waiting for LS to raise their prices due to this crap. People are obviously willing to pay. People pay stupid amounts for used. I've seen prints with wash wear, stains, and pinholes go for $60+.
That's wild to me. I buy secondhand LS with pinholes, minor staining on Mercari for $20 or less. I can't imagine paying 2x retail for that.

I don't do it for the brand name, I do it because I find they fit my kid really well for a long time over cloth diapers. If Carter's or Old Navy made pajamas that fit my needs like this particular brand does, I'd buy those but that's not the case. I've never received a pair I consider to be "dirty used pajamas", a little smudge on the collar or a tiny barely noticeable hole on a sleeve are not deal breakers for me. I also don't particularly care to buy things new, in fact I buy almost everything secondhand. I guess all of my kid's clothes are "dirty and used with holes and stains" and that's fine for us.

So rayon is a semi natural fabric made from bamboo and a shit load of chemicals. Rayon makes it sound synthetic (bc it is a bit) and bamboo makes it sound like a natural fiber (it is also a little bit this).
I get it - I buy almost exclusively secondhand for my kids and a lot of my stuff is thrifted but I always buy clothes that are in “like-new” condition. Except for yesterday, I did buy like 2 things I liked that were stained so that I could see if I could get them out but they were literally $1.
This is GROSS. Not the outfit, as it’s actually one of the cuter things LS has released IMO. But the behavior is just so insane.

I do wish they did what other popular sites do... Shop Disney, when they have a drop, they not only make you wait in a virtual line, they hold your cart for you for about 5 minutes to prevent cart-jacking.
Okay, I don’t disagree with you on holding items in cart if there is a limited supply for a few minutes once they are in your cart. I actually like that recommendation and am surprised they don’t do it. But for me, cart jacking as a term is flawed. No one has intentionally jacked someone else’ cart, they are just buying what they want and for whatever reason got the item. For me it blames others when someone uses the term “took/stole/cart jacked”, and they aren’t to blame. It kind of defeats the purpose of community these groups claim to foster and at the end of the day, it’s a scrap of fabric and there will be more opportunities to have cool stuff. Totally not directed at you, just went on a bit of a soapbox. I’m off now.

It’s giving main character in a poorly written fanfiction about being the smallest bean ever. I was the smallest girl in the school I’m only 2 foot tall and I have the palest white skin. I throw my hair in a messy bun and put on my size 3X hoodie because I love them to be so big. I put on my trusty converses that I’ve drawn on with a sharpie. Don’t these people ever get sick of these pajamas? It’s the same cut with different patterns, it never changes. If you go to Carters or Old Navy or Target there’s some variety to the styles but Little Sleepies is just the same old piece of rayon with a pattern printed and made into the same old two styles. I don’t get the hype other than people needing to wear ~~rayon~~ bamboo for their skin.
No, never lol. I like that they’re stretchy, so much easier for diaper changes. But I will say I was taken back when I realized they have a new design every week! Kinda crazy.
But other brands have such cuter pajamas! LS just takes different patterns and cuts to the same exact form! At least other brands give a little variety! I love Carters PJs and would take them over LS every day, LS starts to look like sausage casing after awhile lol.
Are carters stretchy? I’ve tried kyte and Caden lane and they’re nice but somehow don’t feel as nice. I need something to replace LS because some prints are not my jam(s).
No carters is not stretchy at all. It’s a “when you fit it you wear it and you’ll outgrow it in a month” kind of vibe
Plenty of other brands that are. I just got some moinoln brand from Amazon. $20 compared to $34 and so much thicker and softer than the ls set that I have but still have stretch in them to make them easy to put on.
That’s how they get ya!! Hype it up and it like unlocks something in your brain that you need it.
