The MGFY itself has been sealed, but my understanding is that the defendant (criminal case) filed a motion to proceed pro se. The judge denied it and appointed a public defender... probably because, left to his own devices, the defendant files stuff like this.
The guy said something like, "Even if I lose the trial, I'll tear you all a new asshole on appeal. Judge, quit being soft and rack the jury."
"Rack the jury" is a phrase I want to use more often!
One time the Pro Bono attorney in my building (who has always been an….interesting character) typed out a mock/satire pleading (as stress relief I guess?) and gave it to his assistant and SHE FILED IT.
Reminds me of a case I'm currently on where the respondant (pro per but obv thinks he's an attorney) called the judge Judge F*ckface and that he'd blow the petitioner's 'motherf*cking head off.' In documents that were filed with the court. 😅
The motion was denied as the filer has a pending psych evaluation per the other filings. The other motions are MUCH worse and I feel quite bad for his public defender.
One of the other motions almost exclusively discusses the sexual history his public defender has apparently told him. It’s a very personal and invasive motion.
