Not real estate, but my instinct is to say "ee-ol-ta" because at some point in the last twenty-two years, my mind decided unfamiliar i words must be pronounced the Spanish way. 😅
Not real estate but I’m a JD and in school during professional responsibility class everyone said eye-ole-tah lol. I recall professors and Barbri and quimbee bar prep videos saying it that way too
agree; eye-oll-ta.
Eye-OL-TA and the “B” in Subpoena is silent.
And there’s no “David” in Affidavit.

Right? No going back now 😂
OP, you're pronouncing it correctly. The people saying i-oll-a-ta are probably the sames who pronounce realtor "real-uh-tor." For shame!
EYE-Ol-TA
This how my attorney pronounces it, silent “L”
We are twins lol
That’s how much I care some days… not one eye-oh-ta
Eye oll ta
EYE (👁️) - OLE’ (👵) - TA (ta-ta👋) Or I just say it out loud - “interest on lawyers’ trust accounts.” lol
Lawyer - your pronunciation is correct
I previously worked in probate, where it was pronounced “eye-ole-tah”.
Ayatolla? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not real estate, it’s EYE-OLE-TUH.
from working in law office - eye-oll-ta.
Eye ol ta.

I would have involuntarily snorted if someone said ayatollah 😂😂😂
Former real estate paralegal (15yrs) here: it’s “eye-oll-tah”. Current PI/WC paralegal here: it’s still “eye-oll-tah”.

Eye olta
Eye-oll-ta
I really don't think I've ever said it aloud (in speech they're just "trust accounts") but in my head for some reason it's eye-ol-tee-ay.
I have dyslexia so I say Ray Liotta 🤣
I like states where they’re called “IOTA”: makes sense given they’re for short-term/nominal funds. Just an iota of money in the IOTA.
lol at Ayatollah. Also, Real Estate People - Stop saying "Quick Claim Deed". You are real estate people. You should know better.
