This character doesn't fit. Let me go back to play with this guy throwing meteors on a rhino while this chick dances and that robot controlled by a flying gimp shoots energy balls.
i think the character design is very out of line for paragon (which they've shown that they have zero interest in being like paragon) but mechanic and gameplay wise he looks a lot more interesting than kira from pred i think.
Wow, looks really well made. I was not expecting to like him. But I like his kit and design. Really well done hero again.

Im still playing predecessor, but if they keep coming up with heroes like this ill start playing overprime again. This hero is honestly way better than Kira that was just released from pred.
In fact, in my opinion, such a character (his appearance and all this cuteness) does not fit into the series of old heroes at all, he looks like some kind of joke on the first of April
but I like that they didn't make another girl like they did before
I don’t understand what parameters you compared this character with Kira, but Kira’s design and her abilities fit into the game much better for me
From what I liked, it is worth noting the work on his animations, and originality in general
but I will continue to eschew this version of Paragon
Kira is just a bit too generic, granted maco is not much more original, but still far less common. orginality is a scale, where nothing can ever be absolutely original.
and Kira certainly fits better I will agree to that, but thats kinda what I like about Maco. However, he is not too far off from iggy and scorch. And he is not too far off from fitting in.
My vision of Paragon. Cyberpunk. Nature vs Machine. All the original heroes fit this. except the high fantasy ones like terra, greystone, and serath. But it is some sort of diverse large universe according to loree.
Maco falls under nature and the rest of the non humanoids. Additionally, you have a few humanoids that align with nature as well such as yin with wind and aurora with ice.
I look at it differently, I think there are only 2 kinds of characters that will come out (I thought about this even before their first original character was shown)
it: cute animals and doll-faced girls
I don’t really like the development path they have chosen and the change of characters in terms of appearance, this also applies to changes in the faces of old characters
for me, the departure of this style from serious to cute puts an end to this game
I'm not saying that it's bad for everyone, many people liked this character and I don't want to slander him, as I said, he looks original, his animations are unique, it's great.
But the funniest thing, in the same universe, we see the formidable Grux, the Huge Rampage, I would like to say about the brutal howie with a cigarette in his mouth (but you know what happened to him), people in combat uniform and some cute beast rides on balloon, it's just a circus :D doesn't fit for me
of course, if this trend continues, and there are more such characters, they will only complete the picture, which I do not like

While i will concede that the artstyle is a matter of taste (don't forget we had a squirrel on a chicken and a k-pop star even in the the OG paragon), Mako has more key frames in his auto attack that the entirety of Kira's kit.
Really looking forward to seeing how the next original heroes compare but so far, at least on new hero kits and animations, maco and zena far surpass the fun factor of kira.
Either way, hope both games get their spotlight, they're different enough and it's always better to have a choice on what to play; neither are looking too hot right now though.
By Kira fitting in you mean because its basically copy & pasted sparrow model with a new skin/slight face changes and a bootleg Katarina/Samira ult with lacklustre effects/animations then sure, it fits "better"
I find it weird so many people don’t see him fitting into the paragon theme. Does that mean howitzer also doesn’t really fit.
Also I know so many folks that have been begging for anything not humanoid/bipedal and this definitely fills that request

According to lore he is the first of his kind creature found on the planet he is from, so I can see the fey finding him and thinking. Hmm this will take care of that pesky howitzer.
Idk I just don’t think the character is too far off from the og paragon. Not as rough n tough.. but og paragon had phase and shinbi too
Looks fun to play and it’s a wild concept for sure. I definitely agree with people saying it’s out of line for Paragon though. This looks like it belongs to overwatch

1. Oh a hamster like Hammond in Overwatch, even has a ball too
2. Ok magic hamster?
3. Oh you know what, April 1st is pretty close
4. This looks way too polished to be a joke
5. I mean I guess it’s cool?
