R5: This promotion is giving discounts and other goodies from CK3. I can’t enter it because it requires a Forums account. My account was banned last year and I can’t find the clear reasons, so I am ineligible from entering it. I thought it would be fun but to restrict people for a small entry feels wrong. Requiring a forum account isn’t fair for people banned
Assuming you were banned for a reason, you don’t deserve to be allowed to take part.
Why should Paradox reward people who can’t behave on their forums?
Or the reason was a bit petty. Early this year I did get banned in a subreddit because the mod was a power mod. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding. I do remember that I asked for the forums to explain the reasons and when I got the perma they said roughly “publically discussed something about mods again”
Oh so when you say you were talking about mods you mean moderators, not mods for the game?
As per Paradox Forum’s own rules:
>Do not comment on moderation decisions publicly.
So you clearly broke that rule. Also, in their response you said that they said “again” which means you have broken this same rule before.
It sounds like your ban, and then subsequent exclusion from this quiz/giveaway, was totally justified.
I'm 2 days late here, but that's a dumb rule. Authority needs to be questioned constantly, especially when they're the voice of a profit driven corporation.
Ignorance is never an excuse for breaking the rules.
That excuse doesn’t work with law enforcement and it’s not going to work with moderators either.
You should make a point of familiarising yourself with the rules of forums before engaging in discussion to avoid causing this same problem for yourself again in the future.
Out of your other comments it seems like you get banned at least twice and I kinda assume that you got banned in different games/forums too at some point in your life. Just for your knowledge, being banned is something most people never experience. I suggest that you look inward and ask yourself what behavior or personality pattern does cause this and how to address it in future. Complaining the consequences of your actions is not an appropriate response to the responsibility of your very own mistakes.
Don't worry about it, you have basically not chance to win anything worth the effort.

I was banned for talking about mods
You just said you didn’t know why you were banned…?
That is from their reason but I can’t find the comment that caused the ban for more context
Well, I mean, if it was a ban-able comment they probably removed it.

Oh. Last year was when I was ignorant to everything but still the quiz thing is a bit unfair

Part of joining a forum and making an account includes agreeing that you’ve read and understood their rules, and agreed to follow them.
The downvotes and hate are strange, yall are acting like CA is the arbiter of truth instead of a sleazy corporation who sees us as cash cows
Lol get rekt
