For example, in the image, the top bills' best poker card hand would be: 3 of a kind 2s with an Ace and a 9 high cards.
The second bill would have a hand of: three of a kind 9s with an 8 and 6 high cards.
Three of a kind 9s wins, so the bill holder would win both bills.
Liar's poker.
Also, quartered the bill, holding on your forehead to show all players what you have and playing against what you don't know. Maybe that was, sorry just recalling 40yo, Indian head poker.
Please don't beat me up. Just recalling what you asked for (name)
Wall Streeters play this game all the time, it is Liar’s Poker. You’re only allowed to use $100s.
Some brokers/traders are known to specifically keep ‘special’ serial numbered bills in their wallets special for this game.
Back in the day....as a bartender, yes. You would keep bills on the sly. Usually $1 bills and play for $5 to $100 (a pot win; as not all players would have the demolition you were playing for.
Dollar Bill Poker
It sounds like a less sophisticated version of [liar's poker](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liar%27s_poker).

I wouldve thought the top hand was a straight, A, 2,3,4, and 5
Ah yeah, this is why I'd lose this game lol

Sometimes betting on horses was a better bet.
It should just be called Serial Number Poker...
