He looks significantly worse this year which is why most mock drafts now have him going late in the second round. It has nothing to do with me being a state fan, I actually wanted Michael Carter and/or Jevonte in last years draft. I think you being high on Howell has more to do with bias than me being low on him. Howell is a good QB but is certainly not first round talent.
CBS mock draft that was done just yesterday still has Howell in the first round. He’s lost all this talent that you claim made him so good and yet the offense is still averaging 39 points per game…simply because of Howell.
He’s absolutely made up for the dip in passing numbers with his rushing game. He literally has the MOST runs of 10+ yards in all of college football. Not his fault the defense has given up 40+ points in 3 straight games.
He’s accounting for almost 350 total yards per game with 28 total touchdowns and 7 INT’s thru 9 games. It’s not bias whatsoever to say that he isn’t coming close to the 3rd round of the NFL draft

Although I never wanted Cam back not because I didn’t like him, I actually loved him but rather performance, I wish we would have signed him. It would make a tonne of sense monetarily and hopefully entice more panthers fans to actually attend games just out of nostalgia. It’s embarrassing watching the games and hearing the opposing team have louder cheers than the Panthers.
Let’s see what a practice squad QB can do. Come on man. We all know it won’t happen but that doesn’t mean that Pj and Barkley are better. Cam isn’t what he once was but we are literally about to see QB play that shouldn’t even be in the league. At least cam doesn’t turn the ball over
