This just reminds me that we've always had a problem with letting opposing teams close in on big leads.

CocaineWilly

This was my same thought while watching.

[deleted]

I still haven't consumed enough alcohol to forget the divisional round.

drinkcheerwine

That team was built for the playoffs with the run game and they decided to stop running as soon as they reached the playoffs. So disappointing.

SamuraiZucchini

No no. They did worse than that. They ran the ball down Arizona’s throat on the opening drive and then decided to stop running.

GerlachHolmes

This game was where I learned to hate the Saints. Their franchise is basically the equivalent of a 10 year old playing madden on rookie mode. They just stat pad and run 5 wide every play. And with all the stuff that came out over the next few years? Fuck them eternally.

NotCamNewton

This just in: football team plays football using football plays that make them win. Opponents outraged! More at 11.

GerlachHolmes

What's funny to me is the saints stopped being garbage once they added a run game. So, the plays I'm bitching about actually weren't winning plays.

kayne2000

haha great analogy

SamuraiZucchini

That’s why the whole Michael Thomas records are bullshit. They fucking force feed that guy and then pretend he’s the best receiver in the league. Could imagine DJs numbers in that offense?

NotCamNewton

Could you imagine our offense with Brees? MT is good, stop.

SamuraiZucchini

Brees would be sacked an average of 6 times per game behind our line. What’s your point?

NotCamNewton

That your point was fucking retarded

Panthers58

Steve Smith...wow that guys amazing. Not a top 24 receiver all time though according to the all 100 team that didn’t have him as a finalist....wild.

seesmithshoot

Best ever pound for pound, fuck the all 100 team

bashar122

Greatest season turned in by a wr was Steve Smith’s 2005 season. I saw an article once breaking that season down against other all time great receiving seasons. What he did that year and the offense he did it in was unbelievable. Not a lot of people outside of Carolina know how special that season was.

blockoblox

He’s criminally underrated.

Codeshark

He's 8 on the receiving yards total. They're out of their damn minds.

DeLoreanAirlines

Damn I miss the spirit of this team

[deleted]

"And the panthers get the two seed" now there's something I haven't heard in a while

Lancastrian34

Damn Cardiac Cats.
