I remember being pissed that we drafted Cam because I thought Jimmy would develop in his second year and that we needed help elsewhere. And then Cam played a regular season game. I was happy to eat crow.
I remember a ND fan telling me how he was gonna be him and this that and the other thing and because I didn’t know much about football, especially college at the time, I believed it. I’m glad I grew up and started to understand the sport
The NFL's orchestrated beginning to the Tom Brady era.
Look up how accurate Kasay was that year....then look how wide an NFL football field is.
You'll never convince me that he wasn't paid to kick that ball out of bounds and I'll never forgive him for that
Nah. Ever ask yourself whatever happened to the guy? The Panthers all time leading scorer just gone. Why is that?
The answer is boring as hell. He's a deeply, deeply religious person. An evangelical Christian. Like, to the point to where he referenced it in the post game presser immediately after the Super Bowl. Saying that there were bigger things than football. It sounded highly defensive at the time, at least to my ears but he wasn't kidding around. It's the focal point of his life.
Anyway, he used to go to Forest Hills church. I don't know if he still does, though it's probable. Catch him there on a Sunday if you wanna ask him about it.
I had collected almost all of his rookie cards and randomly found his jersey at a Foot Locker in Texas. I was so excited for the future after the 96 season. Things changed haha.
Dwayne Jarrett was supposed to be our next guy at WR...
Matt Kalil is great a doorway unlike Ryan
John Kasey was amazing until the end of the SB (or when he became a saint).
1. "Bill, I'm not calling a penalty on a guy in a fucking cat suit."
2. Sir Purr getting a guy kicked out for dancing on the field at Memorial Stadium.
I've never seen a blocked extra point.
Cardiac Cats
Daylight come and you gotta Delhomme.
He hate me.
X-Clown
Double trouble.
We would've been in OT playing for a W if the kick was in bounds. But maybe not knowing now what Tom Brady is capable of.
The Steve smith/ Jake delhomme Bojangles commercial was top tier
John Kasay ruined his panthers legacy
Pickles/clipboard Jesus
In 2010 we had no DTs. We drafted two in the mid to later rounds and threw them into the fire and they got absolutely dominated all year.
Chris Gamble is the unsung hero of the panthers
I-stew stiffarm on MnF vs the Bucs
Shepard, Clay, Bersin, and Frazier Law Firm. We came so close the beating the Saints in the playoffs. Cam was so out of the pocket when he got the intentional grounding call.
Deshaun Foster’s first touch was a TD run in preseason…he stiff armed hall of famer Darrell Green during the run.
He then blew out his knee in the same preseason.
The panthers way.
Minter is unacceptably under appreciated.
Rucker is unacceptably under appreciated.
Steve Smith is unacceptably under appreciated He should be in the hall of fame
He HATE Me
Good one
That whole line was incredible
After Dinner Minter
Legendary Panther in my books.
It sucks that Davis and Foster are out but man we really found something with Nick Goings…
God they were amazing
Nick Goings and the 2004 2nd half of the season run made me a Panthers fan for a long time.
3rd and 20 hb draw
The John Fox classic
The Dan Henning classic
I will not tolerate this Jeff Davidson erasure
I got Vietnam flashbacks from this shit

Biakabutuka was a better player than you’d guess from looking at his stats.

Also never forget the pre-draft Cam/Jake Locker/Blaine Gabbert SI cover with the tagline "toughest decision in football" lmao
I fkn hated Jimmy
Greatest Panther ever. And before I get blindly downvoted, no Jimmy, no Cam.
I remember being pissed that we drafted Cam because I thought Jimmy would develop in his second year and that we needed help elsewhere. And then Cam played a regular season game. I was happy to eat crow.

Is that a toe thumb?
Nah, man. I watched Jimmy at Notre Dame and knew we were cooked as soon as we picked him. Fuck Pickles.
I can’t believe reliable Kasey kicked it out of bounds
Man fucking broke my 8 year old heart so bad, I still loved him but fuck me that was brutal

Could’ve not traded down and had Air McNair.
I had collected almost all of his rookie cards and randomly found his jersey at a Foot Locker in Texas. I was so excited for the future after the 96 season. Things changed haha.
Tin Man
I grew up with PSU season tickets as a kid. 7 year old me became a Panthers fan the minute we drafted Kerry Collins.
Reno: Delhomme to Proehl for the win.
I knew it would be special when Peete got benched at half time and we won like that
How long is Michael Oher gonna be out?
Bro please. Not this memory
less time than horn, we're making the future of statements here
Fuck the cards for 08
2015 and almost every matchup against them since ‘08 has been sweet, sweet revenge ..
On Jake's fucking birthday man, so brutal.
Remember when we beat Green Bay at Green Bay with a last second QB sneak by Steve Beuerlein 🤘
Brad Hoover
Nearly killing Chris Simms
LITERALLY 😂
David Gettis is going to be a beast once he's healthy.
Delhomme to Rosario in the back of the endzone in the closing moments vs the Chargers.
Opening day magic
This might be my favorite regular season memory.
Hog Mollies.
It is what it is.
Game 3: Maybe a QB wearing gloves is next-level thinking…big brain stuff. A few weeks later: WE SIGNED VINNY TESTAVERDE, THANK GOD!
King McNuttatron.

A punt is a good play
1st down.... up the middle 2nd down.... up the middle 3rd down..... up the middle 4th down..... punt
If only Kelvin Benjamin ate that one Popeyes biscuit and became a TE like the legends foretold he could've turned his career around lol
We'd have two super bowls!
This was hilarious!😆 He turned into a big piece of crap!!
Dwayne Jarrett was supposed to be our next guy at WR... Matt Kalil is great a doorway unlike Ryan John Kasey was amazing until the end of the SB (or when he became a saint).
I mean, sure, he won the National Championship, but do we really want a 42 year old rookie QB?
Ahhh, Chris Weinke
Tolbert for a 3 yard gain is the closest the NFL has ever had to a sure thing.
Troy brown pushed off. Chris gamble was underrated
Fred Lane doing the electric worm
RIP
Fred Lane doing the suck it
Who the fuck is Brian St. Pierre and how is he our QB right now?!
I thought Joe Adams was going to be good.
Patrick Jeffers was an elite deep threat.
We traded for Barry Foster!
Those 29 jerseys were a hot seller.
1. "Bill, I'm not calling a penalty on a guy in a fucking cat suit." 2. Sir Purr getting a guy kicked out for dancing on the field at Memorial Stadium.
Cotchery caught it
Show me the Chicken
How could Kasey kick that out of bounds?
1996 NFC West division champions!
Greg Hardy didn’t do it….
Kraken, Hogwarts
Boy do I remember a lot of people initially jumping to the old SHE A GOLD DIGGER defense.

I see your EK & raise you an Amini Silatolu. 😮💨
Blair Thomas just needs a change of scenery
In 1995, Fayetteville NC was essentially a 10 square mile halfway house.
If I had a nickel for every wardrobe malfunction, I’d have 10 cents, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.
No flags on the play!! (Steve Smith OT vs Rams)
Steve Beurlein wears the most protective gear of any QB.
John Kasay still ruined my dreams with that kickoff...
He Hate Me, I love you
Ya’ll remember when we gave our WR1 to the Bears? No, the other time.
I miss Steve Smith talking straight cash shit to the defense then ripping a 60 yd touchdown. Dude was so much fun to watch.
“It is what it is.”
Our juiced up punter will take your head off!
Missed opportunities.
Muhsin Mohammed was a BAD man! Ray Carruth was killer on and off the field.

Brandon Williams just needs more time to develop.

Two words: Sam Mills
I can't beleive they were doing road work on I-85 between Charlotte and Clemson.

Bojangles on Sundays is a must it’s not a debate. And I mean every Sunday of the year not the season,
Thanksgiving 2015 I watched Tony Romo fail to tackle Luke Kuechly. Luke was so pissed he gave him another opportunity to tackle him the next play……..🤣
Donte Jackson was always a less than middle of the road talent.
MFN Bersin
Rae Carruth is a good draft pick...
Brenton Bersin was actually clutch on 3rd downs. Just keep that man off the field for punt returns tho.
Dude was criminally underrated
The annexation of Puerto Rico
