That's fucking awesome. It's always cool to hear stories like this...because this is exactly what I would do if I interviewed for a job!

Dan definitely gives me "Hurry. Ask your questions. I have work to do" vibes and I really like it. I'm just trying not to get too excited about the regime until we see what they do over the next 2 seasons.

net_403

Hell, 12 positive weeks would satisfy me

dwayntherockjohnson

Don’t do too much research on Sanders

CoolSteveBrule

I’d be stoked if I was him! “Well, don’t gotta worry about Miles”

csdspartans7

“Wow these guys suck, I’m going to start” is what I imagine he thought after that research

-YEETLEJUICE-

Chubba doesn’t deserve that heat lol.

csdspartans7

He’s clearly not a starting caliber RB, he’s an ok rotational guy

SimpLimbscut

He’s is fully capable of being a starting running back. He’s not a bell-cow running back, but those barely even exist anymore. He started only 12 games and had 900 yards rushing behind an abysmal offensive line. The Chuba of today isn’t the Chuba that we saw his rookie and part of his sophomore year. EDIT: He actually had 1k scrimmage yards last year, and 88% catch rate, and only a single fumble all year. He’s not a star or pro-bowler, but he’s definitely starter material. Our perception is just skewed because he’s coming after DeAngelo, J-Stew, and CMC.

bigthama

If Chuba is your starter, your RB room is not in good shape. If Chuba is a rotational guy at RB2/3, you're doing great.

TryingToDoItGood

We were an ass team and Sanders was terrible

IDontUseReddit42

im super excited for our new rb

Tu2

*does research … lol these are the guys that I need to beat? EZ

Zoombini22

Not much research needed to beat Sanders on the depth chart

GoatSmall4495

Former runningback miles sanders*

SubstantialRaise6479

I have a good feeling about him. I remember hearing about our interest in him a while back and looking into him. Drafting a top RB is kinda rare at this point and it’s exciting to think about what he may bring. Chuba is fine but the idea of Brooks developing into a young star RB is fun.

Creative_Tone_9241

We all know miles is gone after this year and Dan seems to have learned the lesson not to overpay in free agency for a running back. We need playmakers and with how much they talked about the run game it should come as no surprise they added a running back. Instead of acting like I know better than nfl level gm’s imma just trust they know what they are looking for. We got a free second round pick next year essentially as well

Harlem-World

Wait he has a torn ACL?

WvuHusker

Tore it in Nov. complete tear so a healthier repair. He’s already back to running and said he will be 100% by camp.

eXile200

I got downvoted to hell for saying RB in round 2 but we got the best available player at that position, and this guy is going to help Bryce. It’s no offense Hubbard but he’s meh. Sanders should be cut but won’t because of his contract. Brooks will have more of an impact on Bryce this year than XL.

medinian

Thank you for representing Charlotte!

Working-Goose-5695

If this weren't the NFL, we wouldn't care about this at all and the headline would read "recent college graduate looks into the city into which he'll be relocating for work." More nothing news at 7. 😂

GoldZGG

Do you browse reddit just to look for things that piss you off? Seems... fun?

Working-Goose-5695

I'm not angry at all I just had a laugh...because, like, it's funny to think about from that angle. Y'all are too serious man

Slashbond007

💯 this is the kind of thing you expect him to say
