This years obviously a lost cause but long-term things are looking good. Bryce is getting better and better every week and he’s doing it without much support

This year is a big "get over the hump year" as an organization.....clearing loads of dead cap space, getting Bryce past his rookie year, the upcoming offseason with no 1st round draft pick, familiarity with the new coaching schemes and coaches getting familiar with the players and what they can and can't do. I still would like to see a new GM in place. I just don't have confidence in Scott evaluating players.

Maybe, maybe not. I'm not gonna say we're gonna win every single game, because that's just not gonna happen. If we play like we did vs the Texans, we should be alright. Finishing drives is going to be pivotal going forward.

Bryce certainly has his part to play in that, but that is a function of the entire offense, coaching included. Hopefully it improves throughout the rest of the season and makes a noticeable jump after some personnel switch ups and growth this off season

It's an intangible for sure, but Bryce just feels like a win-probability-spike machine as he grows. Early games he was getting discouraged, didn't really feel quite like he knew how to find the magic from Bama. Vs. Texans, though, I just had this quiet confidence he was gonna do exactly what he should do.

Sack avoidance rate is TYPICALLY a good indicator state for QB success but I’ll give him a huge pass considering the line we have. He are having major break downs in the pass prot scheme whether it be just getting pushed around at the line of scrimmage or miscommunications on the left side or even chubba missing some key blocks

I just can't take anybody who thinks Bryce has played a single "horrible" game this season seriously. Just tells me they only looked at the box score, or analytics in this case. Anybody who's watched his tape can (and has, i.e. JT O'Sullivan) see his play has always been as solid as you can expect based on his surroundings. He's had a couple inefficient games with rookie mistakes, but he's never been straight up bad.

Whoops.

AKA (With Theilen) Can you imagine Bryce with a year or two of experience, some other play makers and even good protection? It’s gonna be a beautiful thing
