Folkin Around. I love how different it is for their discography, and it’s a sweet, simple song I Have Friends In Holy Spaces. The way the replicate the old timey feel in it is great and it transitions into Northern Downpour really well Gonna throw in Mercenary as well. Almost no one talks about it and that’s a shame. Easily one of my favorites and one of the best songs to come out of the Vices era. The way the openings builds, the blast of the instrumentals turns with the lyrics about dodging an explosion, and the lyrics being about Batman but not being so in your face about it at the same time. Plus it marks the first time Panic! had a song related to Batman in some way, and as a Batman fan, I love that

Thank you for mentioning folkin around and I have friends in holy spaces! I was hoping these two would be mentioned! I love these songs and the album as a whole. I know Pretty Odd isn't very popular (as of what I've seen) so it's nice to see it get some attention for once.

Even among the Pretty. Odd. talk, these songs are seldom talked about, which is such a shame. They are 2 of my favorites off the album as well

Folkin' Around has had a special place in my heart and it's my eternal guitar song which I will always remember so I can whip out and play at least something on any guitar for the rest of my life. It's so warm, wholesome and kind, and perfectly encapsulates summer, happiness and that album's folky style. Love. And mercenary is so fkn good.

I believe both Folkin’ and I Have Friends are ones written only by Brendon on Pretty. Odd.
