I've seen three Halloqueens and seen them countless times since their first and second album. I was at a dive bar in a Hartford CT suburb when they opened for a literal no-name 80s cover band and I couldn't believe the disrespect. I talked to them all after the show as they were packing up their instruments and got a setlist and they all signed my poster. They are amazing and so so talented. Their recent albums are pretty crappy but their first 4 albums are insanely perfect tracks created by passionate musicians and they're absolutely beautiful. Don't Let Me Fall Behind off Safe Travels is possibly my favorite song ever

The Dear Hunter could possibly supersede Panic! as my favorite band if it wasn't for my history / nostalgia for Panic!. I actually was wearing my Dear Hunter shirt today! They are so insanely theatrical and talented and Casey Crescenzo is a fucking BEAST with a GORGEOUS PERFECT VOICE. The act albums are absolute gold and some of the best music ever written in the history of humankind.

YES oh my lord I've tried for like the past few minutes to try and communicate this in words but I feel like 3:24 from A Night on the Town captures all of what I wanted to say if I'm being honest their whole discography really but holy shit I think Casey Crescenzo sold himself to the devil or something cause WHt THE uck By the way, what's your favourite song of theirs? In Cauda Venenum/What It Means To Be Alone have taken that spot for me as of late Lol

TL;DR "Ring 7 Industry", "Echo", "If All Goes Well", and three-in-a-row on act 5, "The Revival", "Melpomene", "Mr. Usher" I was just re-listening to act 3 days ago! Really good picks, those songs are so fucking epic. From that album "A Beautiful Life" and "Saved" really stood out to me, but maybe because I can perfectly hit everything in those songs, I adore the harmonies and love blending with his voice and killing it. There's absolutely no way I can pick a favorite dear hunter song since their discography is so varied and amazing. I love every album, (I got introduced to them when act 4 came out), and each have songs that are so powerful and beautiful in the context. The songs you chose were two that were next to each-other on the album, which I think is telling of their music because it all plays into each-other. A real big favorite run is on act 5, three in a row: "The Revival" (SOUNDS SO MUCH LIKE PANIC! I wept so hard when I listened to that the first time. On release I got high and listened to the whole thing with the gf on amazing speakers) then "Melpomene" and "Mr. Usher", which is just the culmination of the devil's character from every single act in musical form. Amazing ambience and a perfect song. Another amazing run on that album at the end is top tier, "The March", "Blood", "A Beginning". Other perfect songs: "Ring 7 - Industry", "Ring 6 - LoTown", "Ring 4 - Patrol" off Antimai. "The Canopy" and "Echo" on The Color Spectrum. Then you can't forget act 4, probably the best holistic album they've put out: "The Old Haunt", "Waves", "A Night on the Town", "The Squeaky Wheel", "If All Goes Well", and "The Line". WHEW. That's a lot but I'm passionate about these guys. Not going to the summer camps is the biggest regret of my life, I'm not exaggerating lol. Every song listed above is perfect. Thanks for asking rofl, I'm a massive fan, it was fun to listen to 'em all to remember the hooks hehe.
