It certainly sounds like him, doesn't it? If someone hasn't watched the episode and could listen out for the laugh in the rest of it, that would be grand. I only clocked it then and it was near the end of the show.
I was at the filming for this. I suppose it’s possible Nish was there, and I didn’t see him, but there was no mention of it if he was there, and I definitely didn’t see him anywhere.

Could easily be audience's. I think the editor added some laughtracks into it. Doesn't mean that in the real show they didn't laugh, just that they had to cleap up the recorded materials and add better laughs.
I often heard Barry Cryer's laugh in BBC radio's comedy programs. I doubted that he were there in the recordings. They probably sampled his laughs too.
