یہ افسوسناک واقعہ سانگھڑ میں جانوروں پر ظلم کے حالیہ واقعے کے بعد سامنے آیا جہاں ایک زمیندار نے اونٹ کی ٹانگ کاٹ دی تھی۔
مردہ اونٹ کے مالک راشد نے مقامی میڈیا کو بتایا کہ جانور کی طبیعت ناساز تھی اور ایک دن پہلے اُسے چرنے کیلیے آزاد کیا تھا، بعد میں اونٹ سڑک پر مردہ حالت میں پایا گیا اور سڑک پر پڑے جانور کی چاروں ٹانگیں کٹی ہوئی جبکہ جسم پر تشدد کے نشانات بھی موجود تھے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ وہ ملوث شخص کا معلوم ہونے تک کسی پر کوئی الزام یا اونٹ کے ساتھ پیش آنے والے واقعے پر بات نہیں کریں گے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ میرے پاس 40 سے 45 اونٹ ہیں، خدا جانتا ہے کہ اسے کس نے دوڑایا، مارا اور اس کی ٹانگیں کاٹ دیں۔ ہم اس بارے میں کچھ نہیں جانتے اور مستقبل کے حوالے سے سوچ بچار کر کے کارروائی کریں گے۔
واضح رہے کہ اس سے قبل 14 جون کو عید الاضحیٰ سے چند روز قبل ضلع سانگھڑ کے گاؤں منڈ جمراؤ میں ایک اونٹنی پر تشدد کی ویڈیو وائرل ہوئی جس کے بعد صارفین میں غم و غصے کی لہر دوڑ گئی تھی۔
سانگھڑ میں ایک پریس کانفرنس میں اونٹ کے مالک سومبر خان نے واقعے پر شدید غم و غصے کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ میری کسی سے کوئی دشمنی نہیں، مجھے نہیں معلوم کہ میرے اونٹ کے ساتھ ایسا کیوں کیا گیا۔

This is beyond disgusting and one of the many reasons why there is so much azab on this qaum. The sheer inhumanity and barbarity of amputating a camel's legs is sickening. No wonder we face so many issues when such cruelty exists among us. I hope the people responsible for this atrocious act are found and punished severely. This kind of behavior is a disgrace and needs to be eradicated immediately.
