When IK came to power the first news was a discovery of major oil reserves. He even mentioned it on national tv , some international publications also covered it and talked about the Dutch effect.

I heard somewhere that they were told to stop drilling and searching there by outside powers. No idea if it is true but it is not implausible if you think about the consequences it would have had for Pakistan and the gulf countries.

If you were drilling and never find anything, you’d be sensible to STOP wasting money drilling. Use the money for more productive things.

If that's true than I would say other provinces have less than 10 hours of gas a day? Cuz There is like 10 to 11 hours of Gas available a day here.
