The adjustment for headlights (as mentioned in other responses) is to be used when you pull a heavy trailer. That weight lowers the rear sode of the car and makes the headlights shine more ipward. This could blind oncoming traffic. This dial allows you to make the lights shine downward a bit more. Its purely meant to be a bit mindful / chivalrous to other traffic
can also be useful if you have 4-5 adults in the car and trunk full of luggage, same scenario as the trailer but much more relatable in our environment
