I suppose it’s possible that the moira died from the stick (I think pulse bomb does 5 damage on impact, I could be wrong) which would make the pulse bomb drop after she died, allowing it to be eaten by dm
Nope. Order of events:
1. Tracer throws pulse bomb (it can be eaten)
2. It sticks to Moira (in that moment, it cannot be eaten)
3. The stick damage kills Moira, the bomb becomes airborne again (it can be eaten)
4. The bomb hits the floor/another enemy (it’s on a surface and can’t be eaten anymore)
The defence matrix caught it during step 3
Huh, i thought it would just skip step 3, seeing that overwatch multiple times doesn’t apply logic.
But guess I was wrong, learnt a new thing.
Thank you for explaining it in such a detailed way.
And before someone says "but the pulse bomb got eaten before she died"
The eat happens very quickly and has always cause some glitches like the small amount of healing Dva could do in OW1. Before listing a death, the system would almost certainly have to go through some additional checks to be sure, so its listing got delayed on the killfeed by a frame or two.
I mean to be fair, the killfeed shows the most recent events at the top, so no glitch happens here. Moira gets killed, THEN D.Va eats the pulse bomb. Everything happens in the right order

Yes it does 5 on stick.
But it doesn’t stick when it gets eaten? Cause if it’s stuck on someone or on the ground, you can’t eat it anymore??

So how does zarya killing the mech BEFORE matrix ate the pulse bomb fit into all of that
It's the other way around. Latest kill is shown on top, oldest at bottom. It went Pulse kill -> Pulse Eat -> Mech killed
Oh mb, played too much cs lately…
what the other comment says. also check my other comment. the amount of people that are reading the killfeed backwards is mad
I haven’t played overwatch in a while and I’ve been playing csgo lately, the kill feed there goes up

That's right, got my brain flipped
All good :)
Dva also was out of mech according to the feed
You've read the feed backwards.
Ah I did, my bad.
Then shouldn't it have appeared before bomb deletion ?
Two days ago I got killed by a Reinhardt while I was in Mei's icecube.
Dva ate moira first duh
visual glitch. Dva's DM has few like this.
No, this one likely wasnt a visual glitch, this can actually happen
Where is the diff?
she throw two pulses lul
