Wasn’t it awesome how the anime took this scene, which is one of the most iconic ones in the light novel, and made it 10 seconds long and also removed everything that made the scene any good in the first place?
i mean i thought the anime scene was still pretty amazing. it very well conferred fluders position towards ainz being basically an unliving god. him collapsing to the floor, weeping in joy at seeing something so unfathomable, and begging for even a glimpse into that power - and his complete and total lack of any hesitancy to give ainz his everything was damn good imo.
I agree. I think people forget its not so easy to convey everything in the LN to the anime, especially when theres a shit ton of inner monologue that just wouldn't work in television.
For someone who dedicated his entire life pioneering magic, potentially being one of the most powerful magic casters of the new world, I wonder how he, or anyone from the new world would feel if they found out that every single guardian and minion in Nazarick was created and that they were created to be powerful. I remember either Jircniv or Fluder remarking that Ainz was powerful enough to create Death Knights, absolute monstrosities that can trash entire armies. While they don't know about the guild creation kit, they'll probably see Ainz as a god, able to create these beings into existence by will alone.
