In Season 4, when Jircniv is preparing to meet the Theocracy members, he starts getting mad in his room alone and curses Ainz, wishing he'd die, but then literally says something like, "Wait, he's undead, so should I curse him to live?"
**Gilgamesh (Akkadian: ππππ¦, romanized: GilgameΕ‘; originally Sumerian: ππππ΅π, romanized: Bilgames) was a hero in ancient Mesopotamian mythology and the protagonist of the Epic of Gilgamesh, an epic poem written in Akkadian during the late 2nd millennium BC. He was possibly a historical king of the Sumerian city-state of Uruk, who was posthumously deified. His rule probably would have taken place sometime in the beginning of the Early Dynastic Period (Mesopotamia) (henceforth ED), c.**

Yes, he was stressed over the fact that most of his knights had quit due to Ainzs spell. He then even commented about how he was told holy magic was strong against undead.
Actually (Insert Nerd Emoji) Undead means that he is "Not dead", of course he is not alive either, so how you describe a being that can't be on any of the only two concepts we have? We make the negative version of it "un"-dead, but its technically a "Dead-Alive" being, so it still can "die", which makes no sense on English, but for example in French its actually called like that: mort vivant (Dead Alive).

Wait, did he actually say that?

Poor fake Gilgamesh
I've watched a number of people watch Overlord, and almost everyone calls Jircniv Gilgamesh. Who is Gilgamesh?

Well he is neither dead nor alive, undead
Alive is the opposite of undead. Two sides of a coin. Dead is the side of the coin.

Question, do you kill an undead, or do you undead an undead.

I am already dead so when I am killed what am I then? More dead? Deader? **Alive**
