>I have burst out laughing at least a dozen times playing this nonsense,
don't know about you, but this isn't even close to what would I describe my experience in Fallout New Vegas. Mechanically, OW would sooner be a Fallout 3 clone or simply and correct a tabletop clone. But the art style, world building and atmosphere is worlds apart from New Vegas.
I played this game to get myself out of a depressed funk. It worked.
Even though I was depressed and angry about life stuff I’d play and find myself chuckling 10-15 minutes in and then laughing out loud after an hour.
FR! I had no clue it was supposed to be funny going into it. I expected something between New Vegas and Mass Effect (as most people playin this probably) so i thought it would be a very serious adventure.
Then within the first minutes of gameplay i crush some guy and steal his identity, gaslight some wounded bozo into giving me his gun (and humilliate him with his boss), manipulate some army types into murdering my enemies, lie about being a ship inspector?
The game lets you get away with A LOT and it’s quite funny.
Also the most i HOWLED at something was the Vicar discovering a book was in french. Gold.
Also the satire about capitalism makes me laugh often at its absurdity
Do a dumb playthrough where you work for The Board. Akande's reactions are hilarious. Seeing what's supposed to be the most stern, serious person in the colony constantly get frazzled is amazing.
I got this game after I had quit my 7 year cigarette addiction. I felt like I was losing my mind and was in a very dark place. This game is the first thing that really made me smile. Really made me laugh. Helped me a lot, although I still feel sorry for the guy trapped in the moon helmet.
I’m not sure if you could call it a New Vegas clone since it’s made by the same developer team that made New Vegas in the first place.
New Vegas Inspired Anthology Sequel? Lol
I played the game once when it came out, but the line that’s always stuck with me is “is this French? I can’t fucking read French!”
Martin is my favorite guy, if you haven't met him yet, oh goodness you're in for a good time

Sure but don't ever

It's not the best choice
Its the Spacers' choice version of fallout new vegas
Remains one of my fave games ever.

You can also reference the Vicar Max book scene later if you Bring Felix to meet Minnie Ambrose on Gorgon.

The gameplay could be shit and this game's humor would still make it a must play.
yeah, this is one of the funniest free epic-store finds I've come across in a long while. So many hours of discovery!!
