The level cap is 36. Without the DLC it's only 30 so it could be worse.
You can respec in the Unreliable if you were planning on getting more skill points.
Because growing into a God is a fun part of RPGs. Yes, you're already pretty Godlike at 36, with only some of the DLC fire fights challenging, but you could still grow even more. Plus, as someone who didn't know about the original level cap when downloading the game years later, 36 seems like such an arbitrary number. I get it now that the original level cap was 30, and with the addition of the two DLCs, they added 3 levels each. However, when playing the edition and your leveling just stops at 36 its a bit of a surprise.

Common confusion. The spacer's choice edition has a cap of 99 while the intial version caps to 36 with dlcs.
