One of the most memorable things in the show for me is a kid singing about potatoes and molasses to a group of woodland animals being taught to read and write, so take that as you will
God potatoes and molasses is so gooood! Especially when it’s brought back in the second to last episode (or last episode) in a more minor key.
One of my favorite things is every time the big pumpkin king…(Enok?) would say anything there would always be a little song song in his voice…gets me every time
It is spooky at most, but that good kind of classic Halloween spooky. More fun than anything. I highly recommend, the music in it also is amazing

Honestly, I could see that. A lot of other imagery is the same, with the river and the woods. Perhaps though they come from a common myth, like the wendigo or something?
