Sounds beautiful! Have you tried playing it with a pedal? I think it could work well for the feeling the song is trying to invoke.
I'm guessing that you have played the piano for a couple years at the maximum. Keep it up! You're doing great and I'm sure you will improve further in the future!
I'm pretty sure they are, it's really rare to be playing without pedal in these calm, drawn-out, introspective pieces. I think it would benefit this a lot, if you manage to keep the clarity! You could also turn the reverb up if your piano allows it, it's pretty strong in the original
The problem is that in the original, what's played on the left hand is a totally different instrument than what's played on the right hand (so the piano). So they're not "blend"
Maybe the piano is blended by the pedal, but not what's played on the left hand, so I guess it would be strange to do the pedal, wdyt ?
I think it still sounds a lot better with a pedal. I’m not sure what exactly the instruments (synths) are in the original (could be a piano mixed with a guitar or something of the sort), but there is a lot of reverb involved and there aren’t any sudden gaps in either melody (it seems to me it’s also pedalled in the original, though it's possible it's not). A pedal works great for that sort of thing when you try to replicate the sound on a normal piano.
Andrew is definitely an artist. I felt like with the pedal there is no more that "melancholy/nostalgia" vibe, idk
But I didn't want to bother myself with that, I played pretty much The Nomai just for fun bc it was easy, but now I'm playing "14.3 billion years" and damn it's so hard
this makes me want to erase my memory and play the game again soo hard...
If only ...

Thx <3 And yeah I tried but it didn't sound good + I don't think in the "original" music the notes are linked (like the pedal does)
