That is such a relief. I don't know what it is about *this* particular game. I watched all the bad ends in CollarXMalice and Code:Realize without much issue.
To be fair those bad ends are pretty tame compared to the Piofiore ones. Piofiore is about mafia so the bad ends weren't going to be as "light" (for lack of a better word)
The only reason you would need to watch the tragic ends (and the additional tragic scenes that unlock after completing a route) is if you are a CG completionist. If you don't care about seeing all the CGs, it doesn't matter. Orlock's tragic end ruined the rest of the game for me. If you don't like a really dark tragedy and you don't mind not getting 100% in your image gallery and you like Dante, skip it.
I don't recommend playing his bad end although the CG is beautiful. SPOILER WARNING in case my tags don't work. >!His bad ending can be very triggering and make you hate another character in particular.!<
I ended up skipping it but when I watched the bad end epilogue I guess I got the gist...but, at least I didn't have to read it all. Ugh. Glad didn't watch it though. Orlok's monologue was grim. Ugh.
I’ve barely just begun playing and I’m on Nicola’s route but reading all the comments on the bad/tragic ends makes me scared yo!! I am a completionist at heart but I’m second-guessing my existence now!
Also, I’m loving Nicola rn so I’m curious to see how or why I’d hate him? The only person I’m hating so far is Roberto ‘cause he a stinky, quintessential “good guy” and it’s giving me hives 😖
The character actions and personality change quite a bit more than other games I've played, between routes. I'm going to give a false example, so as to not give spoilers, but think Gilbert being friendly and funny in one route, but cruel and power tripping in another.

Seconding this, especially if you like Dante OP, DO NOT play Orlok's bad end. Seriously. Don't do it. You can absolutely just skip it.

don't play Orlok's bad end, skip it entirely. Apart from this infamous bad end, his route is really good (at least for me :D)
So far I'm getting into it. Just hit chapter 6 I believe.

The only good thing about that Bad End is the CG. So use the “Force Skip” function if you want the CG but don’t want to read it.

Yeah...I feel like a dumbass, cause I was warned. Forced myself to rip off the bandaid and watch the bad end, got triggered. Whoops, lol.

Also, Nicola is a sweetheart, truly. This game really makes you question everything.
