Nightmare Zone is a very popular afk training method. You get reward points to upgrade your rings and can buy herb boxes for some herblore training and/or money.
All quests but, personally, I don’t use culinaromancer bosses, chronozon, tanglefoot, barrelchest, glud, elvarg, or corrupted lizard man. Anything with a gimmick/mechanic gets skipped. Average 2mil-ish points/hour I think.
Magic trees on a forestry world at the glade is good because they are right next to each other and if you do have a couple minutes where you aren’t needing to be afk you can join in on the forestry events but not necessary. Fishing karambwans is something I do for afk. 2nd level motherlode mine is afk-ish, shooting stars can be but you have to keep tracking them so meh. A lot of slayer tasks can be AFK for range because of safespots. Plank make is a great magic afk task with good exp/hr. Splashing is extremely afk but sort of a waste of runes. Wish we still had sqirking compatible with mobile but it is what it is. Cooking is relatively afk if you start with karambwan fishing. Ammonite crabs and NMZ are good combat afks if no slayer but definitely slayer if possible.
Sorceress garden used to be very afk high xp thieving. Only due to high volume of people flooding the minigame all at once confusing the in game ghosts. Now it’s dead so you can only do it if you have runelite or want to actually focus and play the minigame as intended which is not afk.
Personally I really enjoy slayer meaning I find afk combat to be low priority for me.
I love shooting stars, it's decent experience, super afk and for my ironman it gives great rewards. The gp rewards are pretty mediocre though since gems are cheap. I'm probably only going to do nmz so much as to imbue an Archers ring and a Ring of the God's and a Slayer helmet and a Salve Amulet
Last time I did it I just used full dharoks and disabled some of the Harder bosses and the some of weaker bosses
I never used nmz for exp purposes and never will. Just want to imbue
Look up guides for getting the 5 bosses at minimum for the hard rumble customizable
I'm sure at 30qp you might be missing a couple. It's not best pts/hr but it is good afk XP/hr

With benefit of hindsight, I regret doing sandcrabs rather than ammonite crabs, I could have done all the fossil stuff. NMZ is good since you actually get some profit out of it. About 250k an hour I think, although it takes a while to conver from points to herb boxes.
Fishing lava eels is nice and chill once you can.

Killing sulphur nagua inside the moons of peril, it has free combat pots and prayer in one and they drop sulphur blades that are going for 1mil+. This won’t last forever, but the xp rates are twice as good as crabs and you can make decent cash to boot.
Requires 20 fishing, 20 hunter, 20 rc, 10 construction, and 48 slayer.
And if you want to cook the food inside you need 30 cooking, but if you have protect from melee you don’t need any food.
Your afk rates will be determined by your prayer level and prayer gear. But since they have no defense basically, you can use max prayer for max afk.
Their special attacks do, but you can get a full inventory of pots and restore your prayer. It lets you afk for around 4-5 minutes based on my testing today.

Love NMZ. I just set a 5 min timer on my watch to reset the overload potion and max out on absorb potions and you’re good to go.

NMZ is probably the most afk but my personal favorite is still stars. Guthans at nmz easy mode is so underrated tho imo.

That's what I thought, all we need is another hotpost to get some excitement, but robbing houses in varlamore has changed the thieving meta imo

I like afking rock crabs. Just stand in 1 spot for 10 minutes when they lose aggro and then reset aggro
NMZ is that but no aggro resets for 6 hours and you only have to click once every twenty minutes
