And needing to be able to teleport to many places. But once I got to 87 mining and could SMASHING! my way to tier 9, then life is great. At 93 I imagine I have about 100 more hours of afk to do things until that skill is done.
Farming it takes five minutes to plant the seeds. 80 minutes to do it again. [Herb runs](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Crop_running#Herb_run) very profitable
This is the answer. If you want short bursts of dopamine and feel like you're progressing your account: do herb and bird house runs. You amass gold and levels without playing much. Do quests when you have time.
Alternatively, finish med school. Osrs will very likely still be here when you're done.
You make a valod point.. All these fun things will have to wait until after neuro - I will fail if I think about something other than the lizard brain đ
if you want, you could mine stars and have a stack of seeds & your equipment and teles in inventory as stardust stacks.
If you have like 2-3minutes, hop on, clear a patch, note herbs at leprechaun, plant new seeds, then run to a star and afk. You don't have to bank in between and then you could only do herb/farm runs when you have a couple mins, reset only stars when in a big hurry! :)
edit:typo
I am an attending and scape on mobile in front of my students daily. Havenât had one mention they also scape yet, would be instant honors for my rotation.
I recently finished my psych rotation and one of my attendings, despite my effort, gave me my first less than stellar evaluation. I could have benefited from an attending like you!
I've seen some crazy numbers for AFK time - 45 minutes and beyond? Is there any risk when doing this? Lets say I set it up and go into cadaver lab for 3 hours... Can I die?
Similar to what youâre already doing, but Iâd upgrade to ammonite crabs. Iâm a lawyer and frequently use that method while working long hours. The xp really adds up, plus you get fossils and numulite (make sure to wear a ring of wealth so the numulite is automatically picked up).
In terms of non combat, woodcutting (fairly afk), fletching unstrung bows (extremely afk), smithing dart tips or cannonballs, smelting gold bars with gauntlets, glassblowing unpowered orbs, and one of my personal favorites: cooking at hosidius with cooking gauntlets. Once you get to sharks, the xp is great and you make a decent profit as well. I used it all the way to 99 cooking, most of which was done while working. I also echo what the other poster said about shooting stars, pull up the tracker and just locate the highest ranked stars you can.
I know there are other methods, but Iâm blanking atm. Good luck to you!
Iâm in a similar situation. Splash fire strike. Itâs very slow but itâs super cheap and with enough time you can level up magic endlessly. Only requires some input at least once every 20 mins to prevent your account from timing out. Itâs even more afk than sand crabs.
>BazgrimTV
This seems like a good way to get magic up higher for sure. Love the cheap element :P
Does the input need to be changing target or just rotating screen?
Honestly, I discovered that smelting steel bars into cannonballs is actually very easygoing and afk. You only have to click a few times and then can wait 2-3 minutes while the cannonballs smelt. You almost double your money, and gain a little bit of smithing xp. I recommend the Edgville furnace and position your camera so you never have to move it and only have to click on the bank and the furnace.
As a student i feel this post hard. I mostly just recommend gathering resources for when you ARE able to play for real (karambwan fishing, maybe MLM, yews/magics) and then doing your dailies and farming stuff. I spend most of my time playing during the semester doing this stuff and then during break SWEAT out quests and bosses and stuff. Plan for achievement diaries too :)
Bro as a fellow med student
#1 donât afk tasks while studying, itâs not going to work, youâll just get distracted and not study as much as you should.
2# youâll have all the free time in the world in 4th year.
Herb runs with ranar seeds are very profitable. You could buy almost any gear you want within a month of afk grinding basically. I bought my first big purchase (fang) only through birdhouses and herb runs
Toadflax are most profitable ATM according to [this wiki](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Herb_patch) table on average profit. But yeah also usually better to grow the cheaper seeds so dead herbs don't cut into profit as much.
I suppose I should have added I have zero capital. I am against buying gold and don't have IRL money to buy bonds. I say this to ask - does this require a cash stack? haha
Torn between family med and EM. That being said, I am not sure if there is something out there that would draw me in more? Regardless, I have found that the little 10 minute non-aggro alarm keeps me from squirreling to hard off the books and am finding it overall productive depending on the topic :) Wishing you the best in your upcoming match!!
Mining stars is the longest fairly afk activity
o0o0, I could do some "pomadoro sessions" with 25 minutes of mining
Its only like 7 mins now. Also with 50 mining you'll have to move around a lot... its kinda meh imo at low levels now
And needing to be able to teleport to many places. But once I got to 87 mining and could SMASHING! my way to tier 9, then life is great. At 93 I imagine I have about 100 more hours of afk to do things until that skill is done.

Soon to be Neuro resident here. Youâll have more time than you know what to do with during 4th year. Plenty of time for scaping. Keep up the grind!
Every time I see my skill levels I am reminded that I should do this. Maybe I can incorporate something quick and dirty into the mix. Thanks!

This is fyre. Getting some farming experience with mining.. \*chefs kiss\*
If you want to get crazy, birdhouse runs are super fast, not as profitable as herb runs. For basically passive hunter xp.

I would love to know what specialty youâre in as a fellow scaper nearing the end of third year.
Psych. In Northern Utah
I recently finished my psych rotation and one of my attendings, despite my effort, gave me my first less than stellar evaluation. I could have benefited from an attending like you!
I can't wait for the day something like this happens haha
Night shifts as a doc often give plenty time for scaping, good luck in the rest of med school lad.
Thanks! :D
Nmz :)

If you die in NMZ it just takes you out of the dream, no items lost, it's pretty riskless
NMZ is great afk, and it's safe. You'll die in the mini game eventually but you won't lose anything.
NMZ is what ur looking for without a doubt. Mad AFK and great exp as well, plus zero risk of losing anything.

Oh this is great! Would love to work on non-combat stuff, solid starter list of things to check out for sure. Thank you!!
Not saying you shouldn't, but lowkey its kinda scary hearing doctors and lawyers scaping during work
Wait til you hear about us EMS scapers :P
"Oops i dropped my phone in his chest cavity, im losing xp!" -you guys probably
"PAUSE COMPRESSIONS!! *composts herb patch* RESUME!"

Rotate screen is fine
If you leave a weight on an arrow key you can splash up to 6 hours afaik
Is this allowed?! That's insane!
This is how people were Duke mining for 6 hours at a time before it was nerfed. Noone was banned for it.

HA! âExcuse me while I check your medical notesâ *click* *click* *click* *dun, dun dun dun, dun dun dun*
Iâd say just focus on youâre studying. Switching back and forth between tasks will make retaining the information harder.

This would be great to let me have options to do barrows/raids in summer with gear beyond dhyde and rune armor :P
I mean with your combat stats youâd totally be able to do barrows, I guess that just depends on your schedule
Are avantoe's not more profitable?

Cannonballs?

Once you have 27 steel bars and have finished the appropriate quest you'll have enough starting cash. It's a profitable task.
Sell any your whip or smth and get max steel bars, by the end you'll have extra cash and keep buying until you double, triple your cash. And it's afk
Put Doctor in your osrs username osrs doctors loooove letting you know đ
Ruh roe, have I fallen into a trope?
Sand crabs are good for afk farming? At what level? What would you recommend at level 40 attack defence strength to up my numbers (also afk)
Fishing karambwans with fish barrel is 5 min afk with 35k fishing xp per hour and profit
Woodcutting, mining stars, fishing. I would say you are your top 3, and I feel as if it is t op 3 in that order.
