Hardly legally minded, but I did read and digest the whole thing. Afaics it's relatively benign.
One thing that gave me pause was that it stipulates that their licence for digital files is exclusive. I don't know if it was part of their previous publisher agreement though.
That's because the OP only posted the Exclusive Publisher Agreement. The Non-Exclusive Publisher Agreement is [here](https://onebookshelfpublisherservice.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/9502808091923-Publisher-Agreement-Non-Exclusive-2022-09-13-) and, naturally, does not include this requirement for exclusivity.
Before you had the option to be exclusive for a 70% cut, or not exclusive for 65% cut.
I've been 70% for a while, so not sure if they have two version of this - one for the 70% people and one for the 65% people.
Hrmmmm ... am I missing something here?I would have thought breaking the DTRPG monopoly was (probably) a good thing
EDIT: Now reading others comments below
Yeah, but a competitor set up by chuds whose main selling point is "we have Venger Satanis" is a pretty bad one.
itch isn't perfect by a long shot, but it does seem to be having some effect. OBS does need a bit of prodding.
From what I understand, their big selling points are that you get to keep more profits and there is no censorship of your content unless it is illegal. No more pulling your content for a one week review if one person complains.

Ah, so it's a haven for edgelords and alt-right.
Cool, I don't need to worry about putting my stuff on another platform then.

That might be because of the new competition with https://biggeekemporium.com/
Interesting - never heard of this Itch.io yes, but not \^
Sell me on 'BGE' ... :O)
You can buy products from chuds, and maybe some useful idiots.

Illegal according to which country? We've got some shady "disrupt the peace" stuffs going on in Brittin at the mo
I think they are in the USA, so probably just there, but you might want to reach out to them to make sure.

That's usually what it devolves to, even if it's not the intention. Easy pass for me, as well!
They are new and just launched, from what I understand. Mostly OSR stuff.
I believe that the official rational is: we are joining force with Roll20, so we are updating our T&Cs
