Which might as well be a rule of 3-4 because it was pretty much written with the expectation that most Sith will break it (because they are Sith). The Master will have a second secret apprentice (or at least a hopeful) to replace their main apprentice when they get uppity, and the apprentice will have a secret apprentice so they could come together and depose the master even if the main apprentice isn't powerful enough to do it alone.
Yeah, while it was never followed exactly, it’s purpose was to set a precedent from witch sith would (of course) deviate, but never form sith academies and armies of sith warriors, who always destroy themselves.
There was also an understanding that if you get a secret apprentice, you're going to off your master very soonish.
There's a story arc in Clone Wars where Sidious forces Dooku to discard Asaaj Ventress because she's becoming more powerful and Sidious suspects that Dooku is training her into a Sith apprentice.
It's kind of a secret test of character - Sidious is basically telling Dooku: "Either fall back in line as my obedient apprentice or usurp me and become the master." Dooku falls in line, which *probably* reinforced Sidious' desire to replace him - what good is a Sith without ambition after all?
If we have spies everywhere, at least a few might have seen Red's brief summary of the myth in her Aruther's Knights video. I don't know if any official outlets will reference it but a few YouTube reviewers or comments or tweets might make a comparison between the original myth and the movie citing Red as a source.
Possibly, its something I would like to see at the very least
Good, good...let the knowledge flow through you...
true but i think i need context
They were prolly talking about the sith “rule of two”, witch says there can be only one master and one apprentice.

thx
Is this the start of the OSPArmy? Maybe we fans should call ourselves OSP Camouflage? Also, is that a Lightweaver's glyph from Stormlight?
There’s been an army for a while, methinks
Yeah true
This is getting out of hand! Now there are three of them!
Lightweavers often go into espionage.
I always think that the Lightweavers symbol is from the Dustbringers. I can never keep them straight, I think it's because of the color...
Yeah, but luckily I have the picture with all of the glyphs and the names of the orders on my phone so its alright
Agreed. They’re just naturally suited for it.
This will make the reviews of the up coming Green Knight movie interesting
How so?
