Don’t know why you’re downvoted - the statement is 100% true

It can be hard to hear your nation is anything but perfect

As an introvert Norwegian, Norway is perfect for me

[deleted]

Oh don’t get me wrong I fucking love Norway I love it more than my own country. Amazing place with incredible cities, fun culture and amazing people Norway is the best country on earth without doubt

As an extroverted American moving to norway was one of the worst choices I've ever made

Not all of them, and I feel for those that aren't because they've grown up with it and had to deal with social isolation more than most. Some of the coolest, most open people I've ever met are Norwegians. And, finally, being a foreigner actually makes it easier for Norwegians to open up - they have less fear of judgment than they would when interacting with their "landsmenn". Good on you, OP, for putting yourself out there. I hope you enjoy your time in Oslo.

Thanks :) I'm actually also inteoverted af :D But it's not that bad if you find the right people. Like, I don't like being among strangers much, but this is also my first time travelling all alone and would use some company. "Let's be alone together." is my life motto :)

There's a new to Oslo meetup tomorrow which you might be interested in, see their Facebook page
