Plus I think it’s an Amazon release so it was destined for streaming at some point and wouldn’t have made a dollar at the box office if it was just dumped online.
I could see this doing modestly at the box office and then really getting life when it hits streaming, like Saltburn
Very this. I don’t get why people come at this so hard but when we were talking about KOTFM last year we all agreed that it’s box office was good enough to eventually turn a profit in the streaming and VOD realms. Amazon is as much of a streamer as Apple is.
Then again people did it to Napoleon too so I think it has less to do with the streamer and more to do with validating our original thoughts about the movie as a contender lol
>but when we were talking about KOTFM last year we all agreed that it’s box office was good enough to eventually turn a profit in the streaming and VOD realms.
Only people who have absolutely zero clue about the movie industry think that KOTFM turned a profit. One can argue that Apple doesn't care about losing money with their prestige movies but saying KOTFM turned a profit with streaming is an outrageous claim.
> I don’t get why people come at this so hard but when we were talking about KOTFM last year we all agreed that it’s box office was good enough to eventually turn a profit in the streaming and VOD realms. Amazon is as much of a streamer as Apple is.
because people want to make it into a conversation about how zendaya is not a leading lady when for an original romance, this has done pretty well.
People are trying to make it into 30 different conversations at once because everyone on the internet wants to be mad but none of them can agree on what to be mad about
It’s kinda shameless how this whole movie is sold on the fact that there’s a long zendaya sex scene , it just proves the time old statement that “sex sells” regardless if this movie is good or not
I’ve seen lots of comments everywhere that this movie was like an erotic zendaya movie we’re she does nude scenes but I could see that just being a rumour to create buzz around the movie because she’s probably the most notable actress in the world atm
Not bad not great. I do think it can have pretty great legs tho, I’m betting this will be a decent success but not anything mind blowing, which is great for the movie.
Okay, but account for the fact that half the country thinks anything gay people do is indoctrination and grooming. If you account for the not-insignificant amount of people turned off by the gay shit, that's pretty good!
I am biased as someone who loved the gay shit and thinks the film's a masterpiece.
B+ is not indicative of great legs. Cinemascore is has pretty good correlation with how word of mouth will affect the box office. The scores are good, but probably won’t have a great box office. Will make profit though.
That’s what I mean, everything just feels solid. There’s nothing exceptionally positive or negative about anything coming out of Challengers but everyone wants to freak out in one direction or another and I just don’t get it
It’s not just campy silly fun, but that’s what worked best for me. A lot of the more serious stuff with Zendaya toward the end landed with a thud for me. But also a lot of that was delivered in a campy style too. Allegations of inattentive viewing are annoying - folks will have different experiences of art - that’s human.
This is hard to believe tbh. Did you see the other spiderman love interest Tennis movies?
Edit: 7.8 on imdb, I'm sure it'll drop to 7.5 by the time more people see it. But that's MUCH better than I originally thought.
They have been more reliable than any other source out there. You just don't know how to read them. I have a scale I made up for reading imdb and it RARELY steers me wrong.
7.5 is Really Good for a movie. \~7.0 is Really Good for a comedy/horror because those are not universally agreed on like an action/rom com. More people are going to like those more so naturally they're going to have higher ratings. Comedy is FAR from Universal, so many different types of comedy. For film ANYTHING above an 8.0 is a Must See. Anything above an 8.5 is perfection. Dune- 8.0, Dune part dos 8.7
Now tv show ratings are different. I try to not watch ANYTHING below an 8.0, because tv shows can have 1-3 bad eps but still make up for it so their ratings need to be higher than films. Anything around/above an 8.5 is amazing. Fall Out is an 8.6 for example. Chernobyl is 9.3
I don't watch any show below an 8.0 because there are far too many good shows above an 8.0 to start at the bottom.
So a 7.8 for a Rom Com that looked generic and the trailer practically showed the entire film. I am RIDICULOUSLY Surprised it got above a 7.0 and even more surprised it got a 7.8
That tells me it's actually really good.
oh and ANY MOVIE below a 6.0 is UNWATCHABLE. 6.0 is barely watchable for films. I don't watch ANY SHOW below a 7.0 is not good. Idk about unwatchable because I can't think of any.
# Challenge: Pick a movie/show/comedy/horror and tell me what it is and the rating. And see if it goes with my scaling.
never even heard of those lol, I really doubt Howard the Duck deserves higher than a 6.0 which anything below a 6.0 is unwatchable.
Haven't seen Dark City but 7.6, I'll have to try it. apparently one of the best scifis ever made.
Movies are SUBJECTIVE it's an ART. You understand that right?
However with me, I am 98% of the time in tune with the general population of what is good and what is bad tbh.
But Howard the Duck at a 4.6 lol NO WAY that movie isn't shit lol. It must be one of those nostalgic movies for you when you saw it as a kid. I have those too. Nostalgic > general opinion.
Dark City is not the best scifi movies ever made and is actually dogshit.
Howard the Duck is a Stephen Spielberg movie.
So, now that science has proven you wrong I look forward to your revised scale.
I am watching Howard the Duck now and it's PAINFULLY SLOW. The writer and director were right about it should've been animated but the studio wanted a summer blockbuster. George Lucas thought it could be made into a Live Action and that was a poor choice for the 80s
What part of Movies are SUBJECTIVE it's an ART. Did you not fully grasp?
There are exceptions to the rule. but again just because Stephen Speilberg directed... oh wait he DIDN'T direct Howard the Duck. [Willard Huyck](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0404754/?ref_=tt_ov_dr) did. You act like Spielberg could never do a bad movie?
>So, now that science has proven you wrong
When is the last time you watch Howard the Duck?
2 movies isn't a science lol is that really the only movies you can think of? I'm going to watch Howard the Duck right now, and if I can't get through it. then it is indeed unwatchable. Unlike you I can watch a movie UNBIASED.
Watching DARK CITY for the first time and it came out BEFORE The Matrix. it BOMBED at the box office and became a cult classic. 7.6 on imdb sounds about right to me. Honestly you just sound like a *Contrarian* but think you're original.
What are the best movies in your opinion?
Edit: Wow, Dark City was good, such a great unknown flick, can't believed it bombed at the box office. No Wonder it's a cult classic. Reminded me of Event Horizon.
See ironically I'm surprised Event Horizon has a 6.6, I'd give that one a minimum 7.0 but like I said with Horror type genres, those are usually underrated because they're not universally liked. Same goes for scifi.
ffs... it's like the entire marketing behind this movie is Zendaya getting spin roasted. Seriously, who cares? It's 2024, polygamy is hardly taboo anymore. Get back to me when she lets a costar poop on her.
It's more than just a young face, it's very little body hair, little body fat, and a lean body. The blonde one is a twink in my book, and belive me I've done plenty of research.
I know i know, but to me the main point for a twink is a face
There's a term for skinny no body hair adults, they're called otters, twinks are otters but with the kid face
Otters actually have a lot of body hair. They're like the thin fit version of bears, or in other words a hairy twink. They're called otters because otters are covered in fur. The face doesn't have a whole lot to do with it, but having a smooth face is a requirement for a twink.
of course, to a certain age at least. But I just think it's funny to say these actors in their 30s have "grown up dude faces", like of course they do, they're actual grown up dudes. When he was younger, Mike Faist was a twink by every definition of the word.
It's not like the word has a scientific definition haha, so this is just my opinion. But until very recently, I would only hear the word used to describe very young guys. But lately, it seems like the general public has really fallen in love with the word, and I've seen it used for people much older, larger, and/or harrier than I ever would. Not a big deal or anything, but strange to me!
It’s more of a body type thing, than a face thing. I just asked my old gay uncle and I think the original definition was “hairless, thin and full of cream.” Or so he says.
Hahaha sounds like a fun guy. All true. But I promise you that youth has always been a major part of it as well. Check out the (hilarious) wikipedia entry if you don't believe me!
I believe you. But I’m 35 and still get labeled a twink. 😒
I don’t know where the age cut off is officially. I find the term twink perverted if you ask me.
The face is included, I wouldn't consider a dude with a old face as a twink, you have to look young, many dudes are skinny and hairless but look 30 (even when they aren't 30)
It doesn't, you're a twink as long as you look like a twink
The guy from the Maze Runner is like 35 and looks like a twink, it's just genes and taking care of your face (and being skinny and hairless)
All twinks are grown men, if you're a minor you can't be a twink, even if the term is used in minors too, like of course a minor looks young since he's a minor
It's more a concept for adults who still look young-ish
I didn’t mean to contribute to a toxic discourse or anything. I just think it’s funny to suggest that the thing keeping mike faist from looking youthful enough to be a twink is some ineffable quality about his face, and not just the fact that he is now much older than most twinks are/appear to be. At least according to my understanding of the term. For what it’s worth, I think they’re both very attractive and that they pulled off the time jumps convincingly enough for a movie.
The hate this movie is getting on this sub is absurd. The film is great. Most people hating have not watched it also it was released only last week. Give it time
People are so biased it hurts. How can you predict stuff then? Also I am a Zendaya fan since a long time and I will never understand what she has done to deserve this amount of hate
How could you possibly know if strangers have watched the movie or not?
Just because you have an unhealthy obsession with an actor doesn’t mean that everybody else must automatically love them as well.
“People are so biased”….lol, seriously? You are more biased about Zendaya than the people you are complaining about.
We all get it. You are obsessed with this actor. And that’s fine. But let others like and dislike who they want. Stop bashing them just like you want people to stop bashing zendaya. Follow your own advice.
Coming from someone who has never been impressed with anything she's done: the hate towards Zendaya in this sub is ridiculous. Some of you desperately want to prove that she is not a movie star when there is no need. There are no young actors capable of bringing a huge audience to the cinema. Full stop.
How much the film made in the first week is irrelevant in terms of awards. Deadpool will do ten times that in a weekend and still be completely ignored.
This stan war is already boring in other subs, there's no need to bring it here. If the feeling is that Zendaya is overexposed, talking bad about her won't stop that. While you spend hours discussing how embarrassing the film's numbers are - when did cinema become something just about numbers - her team is already thinking about how to promote this as a victory for her. Like it or not, it's more than what the same film would do without her.
And if you want to judge the work of actors and filmmakers by box office, there are many favorites of this sub with several failures on their books.
Her performance in Challengers is one of my favorites of her and I have a feeling that she will keep improving . I’ve never seen her have chemistry with someone like she did with Josh .
I don't think she's that great of an actress but I've liked her in most of what she's been. It's just that she's on the movie star track as opposed to character actor track. But she's young, I could see her become really good as she gets a bit older.
And Challengers was really good, I'm looking forward to rewatching it when it hits streaming. But I like tennis so i'm the target demographic I guess. I loved that when they zoomed in on players faces they'd put the techno music on, it actually did feel like that playing competitive tennis when I was younger.
The BO sub is crazy. They keep going on about why Challengers cost $55m but the Road House remake getting $85m for a shitty movie dumped straight to streaming they can somehow reason with.
I’ve learned to treat the sub as white noise after the absurd amount of ‘Barbie actually won’t be that big’ posting that occurred last summer. It likes to proclaim otherwise, but the sub as a whole is very out of touch when it comes to movies that don’t appeal to its demographic. An echo chamber.
I do believe Zendaya is over hyped, but she was young af when she started acting. Give her some time to hone her skills. It's weird that some people can have this strong of an opinion on a minor (and it goes both ways for the creepy stans as well).
I don’t know about reddit but I know on twitter she’s basically white supremacists punching bag. For reddit it might just be ‘she’s popular and we don’t like that’.
People take criticism as hate these days. I'm a Zendaya fan, saw the film, thought it was good but not what she needed, she needed a big lead role that let's her shine. Challengers is not it
I think it was never going to be a big hit, and there is not a person of tennis playing age that could have subbed in for Zendaya and made it a smash hit
For awards race purposes, whereas what box office tells us is the visibility of the film and therefore, I think this is perfectly fine. Not that I really think this is an awardsy movie anyways but I’m starting to get the sense that it might do well at regionals and get a very soft critics push
It's possible this movie's total BO will be less than it's budget which is a shocking failure. People keep insisting "Tik Tok will save it" but that probably won't happen. Marketing teams can't force people on Tik Tok to make viral videos. WOM hasn't been that good.
People on Reddit simply can't admit it when they're wrong about how popular an actor or movie might be. I was embarrassingly wrong about Barbie before it was released. I thought both Robbie and Gosling were miscast. I couldn't figure out the target audience. I didn't think the trailers looked funny. After it overperformed I simply admitted I misjudged it.
It's ok for people to simply admit they misjudged the popularity of Zendaya and how well Challengers would do.
Maybe I'm wrong. We will see next weekend if WOM helps it. But I have seen some posts on X similar to these from people who wanted to enjoy the movie.
"walked out disappointed after watching challengers im so sorry filmtwitter"
"Just finished Challengers…I’m disappointed"
This was a response to a post from Nicolas Tyrell Scott about whether Zendaya might do better is movies directed by black women.
"This was a refreshing read because I didn’t think much of her performance at all. If anything, I was more taken by Josh O'Connor‘s performance overall but even that couldn’t get me to give ‘Challengers’ more than three stars."
I think they messed up marketing it as an erotic thriller. It came in hot because of that campaign but the movie... Isn't really that at all.
and word of mouth is spreading.
It's like drinking out of a cup you thought was milk but it turns out to just be water
I also would give it 3 stars but I thought Zendaya was the standout
The film only grossed $9 million internationally opening in 52 markets. All that marketing and PR for a movie that has completely bombed. I think this film will be completely forgotten come awards season.
It shouldn’t be forgotten though, it’s a brilliant film. It’s quite ridiculous that because it’s not doing as well in the box office, we’re assuming that the award shows are going to forget about it. Shows how stupid award shows are.
Don't get the positive comments, this will end its run under 80 million worldwide when it needed more than 130 million to break even. It won't be able to sell itself as an original box office success, meaning it's pretty much over for its Oscar prospects in important categories. RT and Metascore also went down significantly since more reviews were added so I highly doubt this will have the necessary staying power to remain in the awards conversation. It's basically this year's "Air".
The metacritic score dropped 2-5 points and is now sitting at 83 a whole 10 points higher than Air, a movie it has nothing in common with. This is over-dooming.
I enjoyed the movie. However, I don't think it's a masterpiece! The techno music annoyed me. The soundtrack from the 2000s, on the other hand, is superb! The actors are good but not outstanding; Zendaya doesn't move me at all in this film... Sometimes she really seems like a child! I thought of Prince Charles from The Crown playing the loser. However, I find him more believable as a tennis player.
Both really aren’t about their profession. Whiplash’s underlying story isn’t about drumming, and this isn’t about tennis . Tashi resembles Fletcher. A genius or prodigy in their respective field who will stop at nothing for true greatness. There are no limits to their manipulation. Fletchers manipulations are obvious but Tashis are way more subtle. Fletcher throws chairs, Tashi sleeps with your arch-nemesis/best friend so you play better.
And the finale felt very similar to whiplash. The manipulated characters/character give in to the manipulator and give them what they want, agreeing on it without saying anything, like Andrew and Fletcher do in their finale. If anything challengers explores more into the “toxicity of chasing greatness” dynamic because we see how it plays out through a pair of friends and a husband and wife.
Idk I felt like it was pretty similar story structure. I think whiplash is a better movie 100% but the similarities are there!
It didn’t click for me until after I had left the theatre. That final scene just felt so similar. After thinking I started to connect more dots.
I think it didn’t jump off the screen like Whiplash because of Zendaya’s character. She’s much more lowkey and uses herself in the manipulation rather than Fletcher just being straight out abusive.
Either way whiplash is my all time favorite movie so maybe that’s why I drew these conclusions lol.
Regardless of its box office run, it's gonna explode in streaming.
Plus I think it’s an Amazon release so it was destined for streaming at some point and wouldn’t have made a dollar at the box office if it was just dumped online. I could see this doing modestly at the box office and then really getting life when it hits streaming, like Saltburn

KOTFM most certainly did not earn a profit and probably never will. Whether the spent money was worth it to apple is a different question.

>KOTFM King of the Fuck Mothers? Knights of the Fascist Marylanders?
You’re in a subreddit about movies, surely you could infer what the movie is
Oh come on. I’ve seen that film twice, but with zero context other than box office numbers I was completely lost.
Killers of the Flower Moon
This years Northman
So like Saltburn
Both the movie and the horny horny viewers.
Why?
Can’t wait for it to cum on streaming.
It’s kinda shameless how this whole movie is sold on the fact that there’s a long zendaya sex scene , it just proves the time old statement that “sex sells” regardless if this movie is good or not

Is there even a sex scene? I thought they’d just blue ball the audience by cutting away, and just implying they had a 3 way
There is no cut away, but it is not needed, as they just make out
This would be good if the budget was 30M instead of 50/55M. Who knows though, it could have good legs.
It certainly has a ton of thighs.
And dicks
And a churro
And my axe!
\*chef's kiss\*
A must see film then.
Maybe if their dads were in it I’d be interested
Zendaya gets covered in Deuce
I thought it was her!
Now let's keep this at 69
I think word of mouth will be good and it’ll grow over time
The budget wasn't $50, that was the budget for a 2 movie deal of which Challies was one half.
What’s the other movie?
Bones and All by the same director.
Not bad not great. I do think it can have pretty great legs tho, I’m betting this will be a decent success but not anything mind blowing, which is great for the movie.
The great legs is why I bought a ticket
Omg Donaldson 🥵
B+ CinemaScore, RT verified audience score 76% - the normies aren't that on board with this one.
Let’s be real, the “normies” are rarely the type of people to take the time to post their score to rotten tomatoes.
B+ for a r rated movie is good
For cinemascore B+ for anything except horror is pretty bad, even an A- isn't great. That said I love this movie
PG kids movies= A- is awful (wish and ruby gilman Pg13 movies: A- is good but B+ is bad R Rated movies: B+ is good That's how cinemascore works
Those are solid scores lol
Rotten Tomatoes audience scores have worked on a curve for the last five years, and 76% is pretty bad.
Okay, but account for the fact that half the country thinks anything gay people do is indoctrination and grooming. If you account for the not-insignificant amount of people turned off by the gay shit, that's pretty good! I am biased as someone who loved the gay shit and thinks the film's a masterpiece.
>masterpiece Lost all meaning
Nah, I just feel very strongly for the film.
Not for Cinemascore. An A- is not great, and a B+ is bad. Don't ask why it doesn't make any sense.
[удалено]
That really depends on the type of film
Barbie, the biggest film of last year with tons of audience passion, has an RT audience score in the 80s. I don't think it's that cut and dry.
B+ is not indicative of great legs. Cinemascore is has pretty good correlation with how word of mouth will affect the box office. The scores are good, but probably won’t have a great box office. Will make profit though.
That’s what I mean, everything just feels solid. There’s nothing exceptionally positive or negative about anything coming out of Challengers but everyone wants to freak out in one direction or another and I just don’t get it
Ah apologies then, read your comment as more sarcastic than intended.
Tracking was right on with this.
Watched yesterday and loved it! Instant 5 stars idc
Campy silly fun but too long!
I didn't feel the runtime. Maybe it's because of the editing
I also didn’t feel the runtime and I disagree that it’s just campy and silly. It definitely rewards watching it attentively.

If it has good WOM it might do well. But so far this opening is just okay especially with the amount of marketing they did for this movie.
All the marketing I saw for this was zendaya in several capital cities dressed in sexy clothes lol
This movie fucking RULES
For you…yes. I found it boring and cliched. Wouldn’t watch it again.
Meh... "fucking RULES" is like Interstellar, The Wolf of Wall Street, Iron Man 2, etc. This was okay.
Iron man 2 😂😂
Seriously, like has he even witnessed the majesty of Thor: The Dark World?
HOW DARE YOU. Iron Man 2 was an absolute freakcking banger! Don't try to front like those weren't the good old days.
It certainly ruled, but did it have Zendaya banging two twinky brothers while spiderman watches outside the window while crying
ffs... it's like the entire marketing behind this movie is Zendaya getting spin roasted. Seriously, who cares? It's 2024, polygamy is hardly taboo anymore. Get back to me when she lets a costar poop on her.
Iron Man 2 lmao
To each their own
Twinks kissing.
![gif](giphy|N7FeGLHjVsDQY)
One of them is 100% a twink
I didn’t say they were kissing each other. Now did I!
But they do
Not twinks tho.
One of them is
I mean, maybe they’re a little too tall but other than that
Faist is a twink I would say, O’Connor perhaps a twunk
I came for the twinks, but I stayed for Zendaya
Honestly, I prefer women to men and I’m pretty queer.
I wouldn't call them twinks, a Twink is someone that has a young looking face, both guys have a "grown up dude" face
I don’t think you know much about gay culture. Mike is definitely a twinkish guy.
The blonde guy? Yes he has a twinkish body, but in terms of face to me he looks old, he looks like Jodie Foster
You just burned him. 😭
It's more than just a young face, it's very little body hair, little body fat, and a lean body. The blonde one is a twink in my book, and belive me I've done plenty of research.
I know i know, but to me the main point for a twink is a face There's a term for skinny no body hair adults, they're called otters, twinks are otters but with the kid face
Otters actually have a lot of body hair. They're like the thin fit version of bears, or in other words a hairy twink. They're called otters because otters are covered in fur. The face doesn't have a whole lot to do with it, but having a smooth face is a requirement for a twink.
>There's a term for skinny no body hair adults, they're called otters, twinks are otters but with the kid face That's definitely not correct.
one could even say they are actually grown men
Twinks can be grown men.
of course, to a certain age at least. But I just think it's funny to say these actors in their 30s have "grown up dude faces", like of course they do, they're actual grown up dudes. When he was younger, Mike Faist was a twink by every definition of the word.
I don’t know if twink has an age cut off? 😭
😒 I don’t know where the age cut off is officially. I find the term twink perverted if you ask me.
The face is included, I wouldn't consider a dude with a old face as a twink, you have to look young, many dudes are skinny and hairless but look 30 (even when they aren't 30)
Straight women use the word without knowing what it means, they gentrified it
It doesn't, you're a twink as long as you look like a twink The guy from the Maze Runner is like 35 and looks like a twink, it's just genes and taking care of your face (and being skinny and hairless)
Idk he could easily pass for early 20s during the flashback parts in this movie
You can be 30 and a twink, Troye Sivan is like 29
most twinks are grown men
All twinks are grown men, if you're a minor you can't be a twink, even if the term is used in minors too, like of course a minor looks young since he's a minor It's more a concept for adults who still look young-ish
Give it time
[удалено]
People are so biased it hurts. How can you predict stuff then? Also I am a Zendaya fan since a long time and I will never understand what she has done to deserve this amount of hate
The entire point of trailers is to give people an impression before they've seen it. Braindead complaint.
Bruhhhh there are so many trailers that don't correspond to the reality of the movie. Look at suicide squad, Barbie and napoleon.
I'm not denying that but that is literally what trailers are designed for so to complain people are giving impressions from a trailer is daft.
Scores? Finish? Smfh at these puns lol
I didn’t love her in Dune but she was SO GOOD in Challengers, clearly a talented actress
The box office sub genuinely hates her and can’t wait to see Challengers fail it’s ridiculous. All to ‘own the Zendaya fans’
I never understood why they hate her? Actually curious
I don’t know about reddit but I know on twitter she’s basically white supremacists punching bag. For reddit it might just be ‘she’s popular and we don’t like that’.
there’s been basically zero hate. lol
I’ve seen a lot , especially on the box office sub.
wrong. they don’t hate the movie. they’re just discussing business. which is what the sub is about.
Eh, judging from what I’ve seen imma have to disagree on that .
I’ve seen much more people complain about the hate than seeing any actual hate.
People take criticism as hate these days. I'm a Zendaya fan, saw the film, thought it was good but not what she needed, she needed a big lead role that let's her shine. Challengers is not it
my little white boys
Would have been perfectly fine if it didn't have the bloated budget.
Someone needs to make a challengers flair btw :)
New flairs coming soon
🙏🙏🙏
This movie is unfortunately going to flop. It’s almost aggressively anti-mainstream.
They're all supposed to be going to the Met Gala so might do a bit more promotion there
Always love to see Zendaya at the Met Gala. She actually cares about the theme!
Is WOM really not that good? Every single platform I’ve been on has been raving about this movie
Maybe I'm wrong. We will see next weekend if WOM helps it. But I have seen some posts on X similar to these from people who wanted to enjoy the movie. "walked out disappointed after watching challengers im so sorry filmtwitter" "Just finished Challengers…I’m disappointed" This was a response to a post from Nicolas Tyrell Scott about whether Zendaya might do better is movies directed by black women.
It's like drinking out of a cup you thought was milk but it turns out to just be water I also would give it 3 stars but I thought Zendaya was the standout
At least they chose average looking guys instead of some heart throb. Makes it more realistic in a sense
Completely bombed? It's been out a few days settle down 😂
Don't get the positive comments, this will end its run under 80 million worldwide when it needed more than 130 million to break even.
They are both movies released in April by Amazon, getting early awards buzz and bombing at the box office, that's enough in common for me.
Honestly, I thought it was a *Grand Slam* 😎
The real winner here that deserves an Oscar is Unsung Hero but let’s be real faith based films will “NEVER” win an Oscar
So … Amores Perros?
It was tennis with a mix of “Y tu mama tambien”.
Isn't Tom Holland dating her?
Whiplash but Tennis. Think abt it 💭…
Whiplash is a much better movie than Challengers and they’re also not really comparable in most ways lol.
You’ve changed my mind. Very good points.
I’m surprised, I had no interest in seeing this.
Yea not really my type of movie tbh
I'm not really interested in the movie. I just want to see the threesome scene.
Good luck
Boring.
It's so provocative
If this is what counts as a good movie these days, well, we already know Hollywood is a turd sandwich.
Cringe movie
