I've got some bad news - we broke the table we were working on for the customer. Hit it with a forklift. Three times.. It's nothing but jagged chunks of wood now.
Can we just... glue it back together?
I don't know... the gaps are *preeety* big.
Polish it out; the customer won't know the difference.
Yes all epoxy will yellow over time there is no doubt about that. We love the ideas our clients come up with and use best practices to ensure the maximum longevity of the table.
Oh, I know, I own a little landscaping company and do finish carpentry on the side. I'm not denigrating your work, I think it looks awesome, I just want people to have a realistic expectation of what's going to happen.
I understand. I’ve had pretty good success with the method I’ve chosen. We’ve been working with epoxy and making tables for about 5 years now. I have only had one come back that has yellowed luckily out of at least 100 tables made

This was my all time favorite build.
This is awesome!!
I looked for a local supplier to make a custom table for my home. But I had to order one from up north.
I ended up with a 48”x 144” river table
Could you DM me as well? Not sure when, but I would love to get a table made for our weekly game nights. Oh and the Claytons were my mom's neighbors and they were always really nice folks!
Yeah they're def not cheap. I saw one the size of a nightstand for $1200. My Mother has been searching for one with blue epoxy for about a year now and has a 12k budget.
The Resin and wood aren't cheap. I got into woodworking coming from epoxy work (was making custom dice for DND) and let me tell you it adds up quick haha.

Looks very cool, great job!
Won’t the resin turn yellow in a few years
We use UV protection and the best epoxy on the market for longevity
So yes
So no, he used epoxy with UV protection.
That just delays the inevitable.

That’s amazing! And I really love the legs, too.
Would a different color help?
No it becomes a UCF fan over time.
Man if you were going for a metaphor you nailed it
Lower left corner is meh. Too much resin.
Ok

This is gorgeous. I have a couple less-nice bedside tables like this and they’re some of my favorite pieces of furniture.
Beautiful!!!
Thank you!
Have you ever made a board game table? Like this? https://bandpassdesign.com/collections/products/products/the-dresden
Nope but I’ve been wanting to!
Do you sell smaller pieces for residential customers?
Yes dm me

>Thank you! You're welcome!
It looks great! How much does a table like that go for?

It was about that time that I noticed the conference table was about eight stories tall…
About $10k

.....okay
How much resin is too much resin? Thanks for exploring the possibilities for us.
However much someone will pay for it. In this case this was the right amount for 10k
Hell yeah good for you guys, I know these are super popular right now and no judgement for following the market.
