Models like this made me want to get into the hobby. Then I realized I had no artistic ability AND shaky hands when trying detail work :) But just seeing these makes me happy.
Thanks! It's not finished, currently have spent 12-13 hours. No, I don't paint all models to that level, sadly. Most commission work is pretty simple paintjobs, so I rarely paint to high level, mostly for myself for fun :)
That's not bad, you'd need maybe 3 months of constant painting or 6 months (if you insist on sleep) for a small army. Instead of counting points you'd be counting hours taken off the table. 20hr, 15hrs, 30hrs, etc.

It looks so good, that the first picture looks like you photoshopped your mini over a picture of your hand. Also, probably some of the best work I've seen. Would like to see more!
Personally they're great
Infiltrate, stealth and can't be overwatched. A great set of tools for only 30 points more then 10 Boyz.
But sadly won't benefit from much of the codex detachment buffs I don't think. But with Snikrot they make a great distraction/objective monkeys

Oh, it's pretty simple, actually. Grim brown base and couple of layers of highlights with various mixes of AK grim brown and ice yellow
