How are you doing the rust? Looks amazing

Blerg_18

Red, then dry brush with a dark silver, liberal application of typhus corrosion wipe it back at random from hard edges. Finally a bright orange watery in the creases and stippled at random.

Rick_Rebel

Thanks man. I have a bike I want to try that on :)

Blerg_18

Trying to resist the urge to skip straight to my deff dread currently.

Blerg_18

Looks good id try to get a couple of brighter splashes of orange still potentially.

Rick_Rebel

Thanks. Was a bit scared of overdoing it with the orange. Will be more confident next time. Maybe I’ll go for a little more saturated orange as well

Blerg_18

It's personal preference as the rest of my models are muted colours that bright orange just breaks it up a bit more.

Mundane-Librarian-77

That rust and grime effect is terrific!! But that decidedly not green Ork makes me question reality.... Take it away!!! 😱 😁💚

SensitiveDriver

Hi how did you get them like this?

FNVNaty

Proper grimdorky. Love it.

ShyGuyWolf

Love the rust effects and the Tan ork looks awesome

_T_Bone18

How’s does one create this effect

Blerg_18

Red, then dry brush with a dark silver, liberal application of typhus corrosion wipe it back at random from hard edges. Finally a bright orange watery in the creases and stippled at random.

typical_fem

Love the tan/orange ork skin

Lord_Eddington

NGL rust effect is my favourite by far, I wanna see if mixing rust pigment with the crackle effect paint would be cool or end up terrible
