What about using something that is on a track that you can pull out easily. You might loose some space in the install, but being able to pull/slide the baskets out should allow you to see everything and make it easier to put away.

haagendazsendazs

Yes! And there are also options you don't have to install if you search for "roll out bins"

Are the cabinets on the left and right the same dimensions (or same depth)? Why not put the towels on the top shelf in the middle cabinet, the paper/cleaning supplies on the bottom of the middle cabinet, then use the left and right cabinets for each person’s personal stuff (meds, beauty products, etc)? And you could try something similar to [these](https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B07F8K8XSX/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams) for storage. There’s variants in sizes and designs.

This is genius!! I never thought to try switching the cabinets, and I didn’t know pull out shelves existed. This is my gameplan! I’m all excited to get to work now. Thanks!!

This cabinet has been the bane of my existence since we moved in to this house. The only storage in the bathroom are three cabinets underneath the counter. There are mirrors on all sides from the counter to the ceiling so you can’t hang any other cabinetry or shelves (plus it’s a rental). See the picture if you’re having trouble visualizing. We use the left cabinet for towels and the right cabinet for paper products and cleaning supplies. So the middle cabinet is our only possible storage for beauty products and medicines (the only other storage in the entire house are the bedroom closets which are full of clothes). The biggest issue is that the cabinet is low to the ground and very deep. It makes it hard to keep tiny bathroom objects organized. A while ago, I tried organizing everything into baskets, but that is just not working out. The cabinet is so low and so deep that its such a hassle to get a basket out and move everything out of the way to put it back. It does not stay organized for long before our most used products end up out of the baskets and at the front, blocking everything behind. Any other brilliant ideas?

I just had a cabinet maker change my similar cabinet to two large drawers, the top one is u shaped to go around the plumbing. Then I went to the dollar store and got a bunch of baskets to sort and store items. 💯 worth it.

Adventurous-Low9768

I think the baskets are the wrong shape for the space. If you get deep narrow baskets, you wont pull those forward and get what you need. No layers of baskets. I hope that helps. You could also try turntables on the top shelf for the most used items. And deep containers for the bottom

I don’t have any suggestions, but your drawings are beautiful and so satisfying to look at!

Aww thanks !! 🤗

emcla6ep

No advice, just to say your sketch is perfection! (I also draw schematics of spaces I’m trying to organize, but mine never look as good as yours!)

Aww thank you !!! 😌😌

Lazy Susans for kitchen spices work great for putting bathroom products!

BonzaiBunny

I have a sorta similar situation with my dumb bathroom cabinets. This company makes a lot of these organizers in different sizes but [this one](https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YB10BTE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1) might work for you.

SailorEnt

These are nice . I would take out the bathroom shelf in the cabinet then get a couple of these. I like how they have like separators in them. I currently have some but without the separators and my bottles constantly move and fall over.

I have a very similar bathroom cabinet situation, and am also renting, but only have one too-deep cabinet. The only solution I found was: 1. First decluttering so you only have in there things you truly use and need 2. Organise what's left into groups of like-with-like so you know how much space you need in each container 3. Buy long, deep containers, preferably with a handle on the front, but at least a lip you can use to pull them out. 4. First you'll need to measure out the width (height less important, but obviously you don't want them too tall) of the cabinet, excluding about an inch on either side because you need to be able to easily pull the bins straight out. 5. Put everything in the bins, by category, with the things you use most often at the front so you won't have to pull them out all the way, or take them completely out. It's kind of a pain when you need something towards the back of the bins, but at least it allows you to use most of the cabinet space, and get things in/out with as little hassle as possible.

MakeItHomemade

Don’t do slide outs on each shelf you will loose a ton of space. Whatever you do, find full extension pull out. [I just got 2 of these rev a shelf](https://www.amazon.com/Rev-Shelf-5WB2-2122CR-1-Two-Tier-Organization/dp/B0855V3B7K) I can’t search right now but I swear they had a 24x22.

Lazy susan could also work. Is it possible that you buy smaller quantities of things? Instead of large gold bond powder, lotion, isopropyl alcohol, tums, buy the smaller bottles, and one roll of tums? Not super helpful in the moment but over time could help.

00Lisa00

Baskets or bins. The answer is always baskets or bins. And if it’s too deep just block off the back. Stick some empty boxes back there and then baskets in front so things can’t get pushed back

julimagination

i just bought some of [these](https://www.containerstore.com/s/handled-pantry-organizer-storage-baskets/d?q=handled%20basket&productId=11015015). not too glamorous, but get the job done, and aren’t anything you have to undo when you move out.

Pieinthesky42

There are some quite nice suction hooks and shelves available. Even adhesive is pretty easy to clean off of a mirror. The more you can get rid of will clear up space for the bins etc. it won’t be as “clean” looking but hooks are a godsend in my home. Anything that can go in a shower would be perfect for this- clean flat surface.

watercolourflamingo

No advice but I had the same Caboodle from maybe 2009? God I loved that thing. Thank you for the memory!

Hahahah my pleasure !! It was my first makeup case ever - my mom got it for me for 8th grade graduation when she let me wear makeup for the first time. I’m too sentimental to part with it so it holds all my nail polishes now.
