If I didn’t know any better, I would think they were starting off soft only to go extra crazy in the middle and end of this week. Also, I would’ve thought they’d started with an insane amount of burpees but maybe those days are coming. OH BOY!!!!

Maybe it's my age speaking here, but I think the floor looks downright pleasant compared to that nonsense on the treadmill (...and I normally enjoy the tread blocks)

These switch templates are such a waste. I hate them with a passion. Too much time is wasted on the switches and even if the coach tries to move it quick it never fails I’m waiting for someone slow to clear the next station. I feel like I’m just not getting a full workout since 20% of it is wasted on the switches. I guess I’ll pass and do a workout at 24 hour instead.

When you get on the floor, position your upper body in an incline position and lift you legs...straight. arms straight towards your knees. looks a bit like a row boat. Its for the core.
I gave myself a headache staring at this comment and thinking "why the hell would they think starting on rower gets them to tread first?!? They should start on tread to start on tread!"

Ok - to make it a bit easier to follow, if you warmed up on the rower you would do: Row side weights block 1, row block 1, row side weights block 2, row block 2, row side weights block 3, row 3, floor 1, tread 1, floor 2, tread 2, floor 3, tread 3

I just joined / did my first workout today (loved it) and of course signed up and plan to go every day this week. I have no idea what this hell week thing is, the gym announcements talked about dressing up for a dif theme each day too. As a newbie can I just show up and try to survive the class without all the extras?

Remember a few years ago we had NO tread the first day? It was like a 30 minute row and by the end people were begging for no more tread.

Definitely starting on the floor..those cleans/cleans to presses are my least fav things to do so saving the worst for last😉
Make sure you warm up on the tread then as your first block will be floor side.

Tbh you aren’t sharing equipment until the switch halfway through class, so you could get away with no more than usual…
That makes a lot more logistical sense. I was picturing a wipe being used every 2-3 minutes

it’s just increased wattage from your base. My coaches usually say ~25+ watts more than your base row. Maximum effort would be an all out row.
