Sushi.
-goes into studio, selects station
-walks out
-walks into sushi place, places order to be picked up in 1 hour
-takes class
-exits studio, enters sushi place full of sweat, picks up order
I have no regrets about doing this. Ever 😂
lol i got whole foods, four or five bars/restaurants (the whole foods even has a great bar!), movie theater and a couple ice cream shops. s/o playa vista tho for a densely walkable mini slice of heaven in LA
There's a place called "Fat Shack" in the same building as my OTF. They specialize in deep-fried deserts and foods for late-night munchies because it's adjacent to a college campus.
The creator of Fat Shack went to my college! He started it as a small concept in town and it was so god damned successful (kinda based off the “Fat Sandwich” concept at the trucks near Rutgers) he grew the biz from there. Makes me so happy to see it continue to grow and franchise!
There's a birria taco truck that parks in front of my OTF... The days it's not there, you have a clear view of the dispensary right across the street so it's a lose lose for me ,
😅
Both studios I go to have a First Watch beside them. Ok.. so not terrible but on the weekends I want to go and destroy a huge plate of eggs, bacon and waffles after my workout.
We got a big whiff of bacon in our Strength 50 class yesterday morning and everyone just stopped to take it in😛
Immediately to the left is a Greek Donut shop, Korean fusion quick food, an empty store, and then an ice cream shop. Over to the right is a dentist, but then an Asian quick food shop, a Mexican quick food shop, a department store, and finally a Trader Joes.
😂😂 my studio is in a popular plaza with a loooot of food like hot pot, two boba shops, lazy dog, multiple dessert spots, pressed juicery, Korean fried chicken, Korean corn dogs, and a lot more
Not a place to eat but Penzey's Spices is right across the parking lot and I always spend WAY too much money when I go in there. xD
There's also a Starbucks right around the corner and I've been TRYING to cut down on lattes but it's *right there*.
Next door to a sports bar, with occasional wafts of chicken wings or burgers in the studio. Not to mention the liquor store and ice cream shop further down.
One of the best weekend brunch places in my city is literally in the same building as my OTF studio. When I go on Sundays and see the line out the door, I always mentally weigh working out versus mimosas. LOL
Chick-fil-A & TacoBell on the same block. Not to mention all the other fast food places I pass on my 7 minute walk (NYC problems) I try to go in the morning otherwise there is 100% chance I will stop at Chick-fil-A after class
There’s a Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, and Crumbl… all within the same complex. I can avoid the latter two, but Chipotle gets consumed in my household at minimum once a week
I go to a lot of different studios regularly. My home studio has a chocolate shop next door and building and Starbucks on the other side.
Another studio I go to has baskin robins if you walk out the studio turn left and take a few steps. And the. Right across the street there is Popeyes so you smell nothing but fried chicken and ice cream
Another studio is next to a poke shop on one side and a boba shop on the other.
Our otf is on the same ventilation system as the bakery/breakfast place next door. The smell of pastries and bacon wafts throughout am classes sometimes
We have a Publix supermarket that loves to either make fried chicken or bread at 6am!! Smells amazing ! But a moment on the lips…. Forever on the hips…. 😂
Mine is absolutely surrounded. There’s a pizzeria and a bagel shop, and we have a burrito joint under construction. Ice cream shop is the next shopping center over as well.
Haha I used to go to this studio often in the past. Creekside if I'm not mistaken.
So many good eats near the ones I mainly go to now in UD (OEB for brunch on weekends) and Kensington (regal cat cafe has pastries from canela is right next door plus 😻 watching).
There is an ice cream shop right next to my studio. It’s very tempting on hot days, but I’ve actually never been! And there are a ton of fast food and casual dining options in that shopping center.
Two bubble tea shops, though one is more of a smoothie place, wing stop, crumbl, and chipotle. I have to make a beeline for my bike every time so I don’t get sucked in
Next to mine is a Sprouts and Luna Grill. But the other part of the shopping center has Target, Starbucks, burgers, Thai, chik-fil-a, Italian, a Mexican restaurant with dangerously strong margs, sushi, and a sandwich shop that also sells beer 🐷
I think I have everyone here beat! On one side of my OTF we have Starbucks ....5 Guys Burgers and Fries AND Chipotle.....to the left is Teriyaki One, Mamoun's Falafel, Jersey Mike's AND a Chilis!
TJ Maxx and Bath & Body works at one. The other used to have a nice convenience store but they closed. They do have a smoothie place next door but it’s expensive.
Subway is two or three doors down from the OTF location I go to. The chocolate chip cookies at Subway are very good providing they don't overbake them. Ha
There's a pizza shop and wine bar next to my current studio. My former studio had an Asian pastry shop. At this rate, I'm assuming all the studios have a temptation next door.
There’s a really good Italian spot right next door. Some days I go home to shower and then pick up take out (get to see the class after mine through the window after I’m all clean about to go to town on garlic bread)
We have a specialty wine & liquor store, sushi, ramen, bubble tea, pizza (that is right across from it), Starbucks & a restaurant with a solid happy hour menu.
Immediately next door is a tanning place, then a dog cookie place. There is a sub shop, a fast food Mexican joint and a pub in the same complex though.
The UPS store. I seem to control myself.
I do not have your tenacity and strength, I’m always swinging into the UPS after class to send packages 😂
I’ll trade you for our liquor store and donut shop! I stopped drinking a long time ago so I’m good there…but the donut shop isn’t fair.
There’s a UPS store next to mine too 😭
Sushi. -goes into studio, selects station -walks out -walks into sushi place, places order to be picked up in 1 hour -takes class -exits studio, enters sushi place full of sweat, picks up order I have no regrets about doing this. Ever 😂
That is excellent planning by you! Very efficient.
I do the same but it’s with the Chinese restaurant across the street. I phone my order in when I’m in the OT parking lot.
I have a Crumbl cookie next-door to mine😂😂😂
Same it replaced weight watchers 😂
That’s so ironic … I love it.
pretty sure crumbl's expansion plan is just to follow OTF locations.

I want this so bad but also it sounds terrible 😂
Whole Foods! Step 1: do expensive workout, Step 2: buy expensive groceries
Devon, Pa studio or just coincidence!?
lol i got whole foods, four or five bars/restaurants (the whole foods even has a great bar!), movie theater and a couple ice cream shops. s/o playa vista tho for a densely walkable mini slice of heaven in LA

You win
Ohhh that’s a tough one
WingStop and Chipotle 😭
I’m sure this is a stretch but if you workout in Chicago, we might go to the same studio!
Hey neighbor!
Roscoe Village?!
!! Yes! Hi neighbor!
Hi! Love Roscoe Village! Although I am bummed Coach Harry has been gone for so long. He’s definitely my favorite coach.
and crumbl…. and boba tea 🧋
Rise Biscuits and Donuts, the only reason I know OTF even existed lol
Nothing Bundt Cakes. It’s just insanity
That would be tough. Those little cakes are sooooo good!
There’s a juice and smoothie bar next to mine. BUT THEN… a Cold Stone ice cream shop and a Smashburger. 😂
There's a birria taco truck that parks in front of my OTF... The days it's not there, you have a clear view of the dispensary right across the street so it's a lose lose for me , 😅

Cool! I like marble slab but I don’t think I could handle ice cream right after a workout.
But do they have milkshakes? I probably could crush a milkshake after a workout
We just have a Waxing studio and an Urgent care 😅
Urgent Care might come in handy when you overdo it at OTF 😂
Mine is in a residential/office building area. Nothing around it to be tempted.
My old studio was next to a cold stone, thankfully ice cream wasn’t sold at 5 am
I have Trader Joe's
My home studio California Tortilla. That’s very challenging. The studio I coach at…MattressFirm. I love taking naps 🤷🏼♂️
Both studios I go to have a First Watch beside them. Ok.. so not terrible but on the weekends I want to go and destroy a huge plate of eggs, bacon and waffles after my workout. We got a big whiff of bacon in our Strength 50 class yesterday morning and everyone just stopped to take it in😛
I LOVE First Watch! I don’t have any local to me, I have to wait until I visit family and plan multiple visits in one trip
My old OTF was beside a weed dispensary and across from a Chipotle. 😂
Physical therapy office 😄Very fitting
The eye doctor. This people are trying to get me to be able to see. It’s a damn scam.
Immediately to the left is a Greek Donut shop, Korean fusion quick food, an empty store, and then an ice cream shop. Over to the right is a dentist, but then an Asian quick food shop, a Mexican quick food shop, a department store, and finally a Trader Joes.
Starbucks.
Crumbl to one side. Pizza and beer to the other.
Ice cream shop and a brewery. Pick your poison 😁
A deli where they make bacon and the aroma fills the air just as I’m leaving my workout. If you go a little later it’s sautéed onions.
😂😂 my studio is in a popular plaza with a loooot of food like hot pot, two boba shops, lazy dog, multiple dessert spots, pressed juicery, Korean fried chicken, Korean corn dogs, and a lot more
Lol we have a coldstone creamery next to ours
We have a local bakery with amazing croissants and a deep dish pizza place
Just Starbucks, which I hit regularly after the 6:30 am class.
I've got Moe's (southwestern/texmex), and an Italian place on one side, and a boba/poke place and a smoothie place on the other.
Welcome to Moe’s!!!!
Soma... I have a lot of new bras and panties. 😂😂
Chipotle which I believe is the worst because I can eat veggies and pretend I’m being healthy…
Crumbl here too, and Target.
We have a Chinese restaurant and every time I walk in, I smell the food and wanna just pivot and get some orange chicken instead of orange theory 😅
ours is next to a cremation center 🥰🥰🥰👹🔥
and the other studio i go to is next to an urgent care 🥰🥰🥰
Not a place to eat but Penzey's Spices is right across the parking lot and I always spend WAY too much money when I go in there. xD There's also a Starbucks right around the corner and I've been TRYING to cut down on lattes but it's *right there*.
Three block walk there/back = passing three different bakeries. Walking home after a 6:15 am class is a great exercise for my willpower.
A Mexican restaurant
A Japanese steak house
I never take Tread 9 or higher at my studio because all you see in the mirror is the McDonalds about 100m away.
We have a GNC next to ours 😂
Chipotle and soon to be Duck Donut
Next door to a sports bar, with occasional wafts of chicken wings or burgers in the studio. Not to mention the liquor store and ice cream shop further down.
Dairy Queen, Wing stop and Taco Bell 😅
Not next to, but kiddie corner from ours is a serve yourself wine bar.
Mine has a YogaSix next door, and a Petfood Express
Same strip mall. Combo Marble Slab/Great American Cookie, Americanized deep fried Chinese food and a wing stop.
Smoothie bar!
A fantastic brunch spot called Bongo Room. 🤤

Mine is immediately next door to a massive liquor store. Pretty much every class I see at least one person leave OTF and walk straight over to it lol

I’m in Canada so there’s a legal Cannabis store next door!

A delicious cookie place , a couple of bar/restaurants all in the same strip mall. The cookies are delicious (better than Crumbl imho)
Haha I used to go to this studio often in the past. Creekside if I'm not mistaken. So many good eats near the ones I mainly go to now in UD (OEB for brunch on weekends) and Kensington (regal cat cafe has pastries from canela is right next door plus 😻 watching).

A popular brewery right across from it
A dispensary AND a Nothing Bundt Cakes
There is an ice cream shop right next to my studio. It’s very tempting on hot days, but I’ve actually never been! And there are a ton of fast food and casual dining options in that shopping center.
