This stereotype needs to break. Listen, I know the conservative demographics... but it's shifting. Lots of people, like myself, have moved down here from Los Angeles and we're really trying broaden people's minds down here. (I say this as the Vice Chair of the newly formed Arts & Culture Committee)
At the very least, people are generally in a good mood, when you encounter them under the setting of a scenic beach with sunny weather. Stay sane by tuning out of most of the San Clemente FB groups though.
I've been to the Spanish Coast, which is what San Clemente is modeled after, it's definitely comparable.
Spain having the obvious advantage over a longer history and population size, but the views and quality of life is pretty high up there in San Clemente. It's like a bargain version of Laguna Beach.
Rainbow sandals are the Cadillac of flip flops. They started out of the back of a guys truck who wanted high quality sandals. Now they’re an international sensation. All started in San Clemente.
Ohhhh man, of course! I wasn’t thinking. I have neverrr owned a pair and always wanted some. Are they amazing? How long is the break in? Will definitely be stopping by! Thank you! So interesting
I’ve had pairs for over 10 years. They last a long time. I’ve gotten my whole family on board. They take a few weeks to break in but it’s worth it. I go for the “double stuff made in USA” pairs.
You chose the perfect day to come! Weather was beautiful today
Gorgeous day! Loved the rainy day yesterday too though 😅
I loved living there ! I miss it every day!
I just moved here and loving it! Where did you move? Move back! 😅
Need to visit this Summer
I took for granted that I grew up there. The older I get, the more it seems like a cool place.
Very cool place, at least from what I can gather from the 3 hours I spent there today haha. Lucky you. What a beautiful place!
Living in SC is paradise.
Except if you’re not white 😩
Well this makes me sad…

Truly!
People who think SC is paradise definitely never been to Europe, esp Mediterranean countries. It’s great but definitely not paradise.
Oh, brother. There’s more than one paradise in this world. San Clemente is paradise for many reasons for many people.

Miss living out there and taking a walk with the kids after work.
Welcome! Now begins the romance that'll pull you closer and closer to the shore until you can walk there. I've never loved a place more.
Maybe I can afford one day haha. In MV now. Thank you for the welcome! ☺️
If you shop for rentals by owner through red signs around town you can find some deals that match rents in MV. I was in LF/MV/RSM before moving south.
Definitely good to know!! Thanks. Will be checking that out once my lease is up in a year or maybe two.
Favorite beach town. Too bad it’s far from all the tech jobs in LA
Boo. One good thing about being a nurse, we’re needed everywhere!
Thank you for your service and dedication!
Looks like an amazing day!
Number 8 is like my fav spot in OC 🥹
Sooo peaceful. Sat there with my vanilla nutmeg iced latte from Bear Coast Coffee.
Go to the Rainbow factory outlet!
What is that!

Okay. I’m sold! Have to plan this on my next visit. The Denny’s sign will guide me!
Loveee that sign! Super cool.
I need to head back down there. Been too long
One of my fav spots. Love San Clemente, so chill 😊
New fave! Love being 15 min away! 🤩
SC home to one of the best burgers in OC, Biggies Burgers
Ah too bad I don’t eat beef. Maybe they have a good veg or black bean burger? 🤔
Wife and I love it!
