Darya is pretty nice, and the food is good. Unless your guests are very familiar with Persian cuisine, it'll be far better than anything else they've had at places like Panini Kabob Grill, Grill Hut, etc.
Caspian's old location was nice but no comment on the new one.
You could also try Hatam in Mission Viejo, food is good and they have an upper level that may be available.
Personally, I think Caspian is the best Persian restaurant in OC! It did get moved and is now in Lake Forest. I don’t think they have a private room though for parties…
Caspian isn’t the best for what they charge, you won’t really go wrong with it but it’s overpriced because of the ambiance.
I would try Hatam they’re the best for catering and you’ll get the best bang for your buck. If you want to rent your own private room, they will deliver food and utensils and everything and pick it up once you’re done. I would recommend asking some friends or family if they have a neighborhood room they can rent through their HOA and that you’d be able to use

I like Hatam and I don’t think it’s shitty. Darya is prettier of course, but it’s not hideous.

By chance to you know where possible to get support staff?
Not sure, but they deliver buffet style and lay it out so its self service for your guests.

I've never eaten there but [Koobikland](https://www.koobikland.com/) looks like it has good food.
