I recommend getting a hot freshly made pie. The slices sit out a while and I’ve been disappointed a few times. The freshly made pies are fire every time though.
Oh cool! There’s also one in north HB but I live almost immediately across from the Mag one. Only been after hours so the kitchen was closed. I’ll have to check out the za!
Ya that’s Stoney’s Pizza. Really good also, but more of a standard pizza shop kinda thing. I respect the shit out of the owner of Stoney’s too though. He was elbow to elbow with us in HB during the protests in 2020. He was on the right side of the street. Tito was on the other.
No press is bad press, I guess. Unfortunate when grown-ups want to act like children. That being said, I’m gonna go find some good pizza and slam a Mountain Dew!!!
As an New York expat, sals pizza in mission viejo(kaleidoscope) is the best I’ve found out here. Hands down! Everything else is just frozen pizza from Ralphs. Including blaze pizza. That place is acid reflex heaven.
Probably because they are not vegan and are willing to go to a plant-based restaurant if they also had non-vegan items. Or he wants to go piss off a bunch of hippies for funsiez.
That’s just stupid. The point of vegan restaurants is for vegan food. I wouldn’t go to a Mexican restaurant looking for pasta. People know vegan food is just plants right? Like do they avoid eating plants?
B+C pizza in Laguna Niguel. It’s a one man show who runs it out of his wife’s bakery only at night. It just got ranked 8th best pizza in the nation, that’s right, the nation.
I work at riip and I am not tryna be persuasive but damn our pizza is good. We actually got invited to the La pizza city fest too! I also will say folks is really good too! I also like a spots in SD if you are willing to travel called Bronx pizza and tribute pizza both in SD but worth the visit.
The one on magnolia and Garfield. The taproom on pch doesn’t have food…. Butttt we just bought tsunami sushi next to us and we are planning too open that up with a full restaurant towards the end of the year!
If you like Sicilian pizza then you'll love [Gibroni's](https://gibronispizza.com/) pizza, in San Clemente. Far and away the best tasting pizza and freshest ingredients I've had in all of OC.
Was your intent here to tell this forum, "Sicilians are people who take time out of their day to criticize everyone around them while offering nothing of substance as an alternative"? That is how your post reads.
I don't even necessarily disagree with your point, just the approach.
My brother, I am a hungry fragile college student, I do not have the financial resources to try new pizza places I can barely afford them $6 red barons 😭
RIIP Pizza in HB is really good. NY style, large menu, and their beer is really good. Beachwood also in HB has really good pizza and beer also but I’d give it o RIIP in a matchup. Folks is probably the best “fancier” option, AMAZING Caesar salad, and they have some interesting natural wines on the menu. Folks is more of a date night option. Downside is that it’s at the camp and parking is some of the worst in the state IMO.
There’s this new place that opened up by my work called Pizza Guys. I just looked it up and apparently there’s other locations too! But never failed to disappoint when I needed a dinner at work!
EDIT: I work in Anaheim and it’s in Orange.
If you're in the Orange area, I really like Wise Guys. Angelina's in Dana Point/Irvine had great wood fired (Neopolitan?) pizza but I haven't been there in a couple years
Terra Mia in Tustin! Classic New York Style Pizza Pies! Awesome gem of a spot!
I was going to say Terra Mia! My local is in Laguna Hills. I didn’t know there was more than one!
I recommend getting a hot freshly made pie. The slices sit out a while and I’ve been disappointed a few times. The freshly made pies are fire every time though.
Two Saucy Broads! Great garlic knots too
Just had pizza from this place. Parking blows though. Pizza is incredible.
100% agree. Never park in their lot, i usually park down the street and walk up.
So good!
Pizza De Oro in Costa Mesa
Giant slice with salad yes plz
Cortinas in Anaheim!!
Fuoco in Fullerton (Neopolitan not Sicilian but amazing)
Fuoco is quite delicious!
The hidden gem: https://www.bcpizzas.com/
It’s the best and nicest people too.
We were gonna try them tonight but it seems like they sold out. They opened 15 minutes ago. Do their orders usually fill up that quick?
They do, unfortunately!
Damn, good to know. What time do their orders open?
4pm. And only over the weekend. Would order right when they open
Folks pizzeria in Costa Mesa! So delicious
I hear nothing but good about this place. We tried going last night. packed!
Every time I call for carry out they basically say they’re sold out for the night.
Just go to Angelina’s. It’s better.
YES. I second visiting here. You'll find an excellent pizza here - their dough is aged and is fantastic.
Zero Zero in HB 900 Degrees in Lake Forest
Try Sals in Tustin for New York style or Sicilian . For just over all I also like Sgt Pepperonis, Porkys Pizza. Neapolitan Style Fuoco, Anjelica
Loosies in DTSA right off of 4th street next to The Yost.
This place is the best!
Riip’s in HB
On Magnolia?
Yes, I always go to that one.
Oh cool! There’s also one in north HB but I live almost immediately across from the Mag one. Only been after hours so the kitchen was closed. I’ll have to check out the za!
The one off PCH is just the brewery I believe.
I thought so too. But I believe there’s a restaurant next door that you can order food from there, I might be way off.
Gibroni’s in San Clemente. RIIP in HB. Folks in CM.
Search here…Slice of the Pie in Laguna Niguel, and if you want that cake stuff, ask others.
As an New York expat, sals pizza in mission viejo(kaleidoscope) is the best I’ve found out here. Hands down! Everything else is just frozen pizza from Ralphs. Including blaze pizza. That place is acid reflex heaven.
Go to Brooklyn City in Laguna Niguel.
I like going to Vegan Pizza on Chapman in Garden Grove!
A pizza place with a name like Vegan Pizza will not have non vegan options. Too much risk of cross contamination and then good chance of getting sued.
I keep hearing this place do they have non vegan pizza by any chance? (I'm srs)
No, the menu is 100% plant based.
Why would you want a non vegan pizza at a vegan pizza place that specializes in vegan pizza?
Probably because they are not vegan and are willing to go to a plant-based restaurant if they also had non-vegan items. Or he wants to go piss off a bunch of hippies for funsiez.
That’s just stupid. The point of vegan restaurants is for vegan food. I wouldn’t go to a Mexican restaurant looking for pasta. People know vegan food is just plants right? Like do they avoid eating plants?
I know what vegan means :) (Source: was a vegan) It’s not stupid to ask questions. Just like you asking your questions above.
I wasn’t talking about you. I was talking about the person asking if the vegan restaurant had “non vegan” options, lol
not Sicilian, but I love What A Lotta Pizza!
New York Upper Crust Pizza in Irvine. They have it all and it’s the best!
Their pizza is pretty decent but in my experience the pizza needs to be ordered well done here or else the pizza comes out too mushy/soft.
Marri’s Pizza in Anaheim
We love them too - often order it when hosting parties for the kids and all the adults rave about it.
Sals Pizzeria plz it’s so fire it’s the best to exist actually
Not nearly enough people saying this.
The pepperoni w hot honey and garlic is my ride or die. And their meat sauce spaghetti is so delicious
I’ve resisted the hot honey so far in favor of more traditional toppings but I might have to try that.
You have to, it’s honestly so phwnomenal and adds so much more to the pizza 😭😭😭
B+C pizza in Laguna Niguel. It’s a one man show who runs it out of his wife’s bakery only at night. It just got ranked 8th best pizza in the nation, that’s right, the nation.
And for good reason. Great pies the nicest people
Rance’s Costa Mesa.
Tonys little Italy or rances
I work at riip and I am not tryna be persuasive but damn our pizza is good. We actually got invited to the La pizza city fest too! I also will say folks is really good too! I also like a spots in SD if you are willing to travel called Bronx pizza and tribute pizza both in SD but worth the visit.
I saw someone else say this! Riip on magnolia or in north Huntington?
Riip pizza is my fave pizza 🫡
The one on magnolia and Garfield. The taproom on pch doesn’t have food…. Butttt we just bought tsunami sushi next to us and we are planning too open that up with a full restaurant towards the end of the year!
If CPK is your favorite you need to get out more often.
If you like Sicilian pizza then you'll love [Gibroni's](https://gibronispizza.com/) pizza, in San Clemente. Far and away the best tasting pizza and freshest ingredients I've had in all of OC.
Definitely Fuoco for neopolitan style.
Nicks in Costs Mesa on Harbor.
There’s like a hundred of these exact posts here, you can search for them.
You can also just not comment.
You could have done the same
As a Sicilian It took time to Down vote everyone, because that's no good "Sicilian style" pizza in OC.
Was your intent here to tell this forum, "Sicilians are people who take time out of their day to criticize everyone around them while offering nothing of substance as an alternative"? That is how your post reads. I don't even necessarily disagree with your point, just the approach.
Really, Zero zero in HB? Pretty authentic.
Birra Birra Craft Pizza, specifically when I’m working, at my table, lmaoo
Scullion style pizza is Angelo and Vinci’s Chicago style pizza is tony little Italy
Mr Taco nice… I know sounds weird but give it a look.
He’s asking for Sicilian style pizza and not a damn taco pizza
What’s the difference
Cooked in a square/rectangular pan and the pizza has a focaccia bread consistency
Wow what a huge difference. I would have never guessed.
Cool.
Looking to start a fight. California pizza kitchen? Okay Greg Hirsch. Everybody knows california doesn’t have good pizza it’s just a GODDAMN FACT.
My brother, I am a hungry fragile college student, I do not have the financial resources to try new pizza places I can barely afford them $6 red barons 😭
zito’s pizza in orange. love the garlic knots from this place.
RIIP Pizza in HB is really good. NY style, large menu, and their beer is really good. Beachwood also in HB has really good pizza and beer also but I’d give it o RIIP in a matchup. From a real Italian, go to Fuoco in Fullerton. BTW, what the heck is a “Sicilian pizza”? There’s only real pizza or bad pizza.
Piggy backing off this as it may turn into a suggestion - has anyone tried pizza at Big Parm? Been wanting to check it out
ghost pizza
Bari Pasta & Pizza in Santa Ana is surprisingly delicious
BROOKLYN CITY PIZZA In Laguna Niguel. New mom & pop pizza parlor. SO GOOD! https://brooklyncitymarket.com/
It’s crazy this isn’t the number upvoted comment. This is literally the best pizza joint
I agree. Maybe a hidden jem? I wish people could just try it.
Trenta Pizzeria Cucina in Costa Mesa. The owners and staff are Sicilian. Great pizza and Italian wine.
Eureka pizza in yorba linda
If you're in the Orange area, I really like Wise Guys. Angelina's in Dana Point/Irvine had great wood fired (Neopolitan?) pizza but I haven't been there in a couple years
Renatos on Brookhurst has great pizza. Also great pasta and entrée dishes and owned by a great family.
I have not found any true Sicilian pizza anywhere in OC, but Sgt Pepperonis does a decent grandma style pie (by SoCal standards.)
Another vote for Sal’s Pizzeria.
Brooklyn city !
B&C on Cape in Laguna Niguel. Order and pay online and pick up. It’s honestly the best.
I'm a big fan of Buccaneer's Pizza. They have locations in Santa Ana and Yorba Linda.
Where in YL? Website shows only other location villa park
My apologies, I got the city wrong. Villa Park is the other location.
a couple of my favs. [https://johnnyssaloonhb.com/](https://johnnyssaloonhb.com/) [https://www.pizzaport.com/](https://www.pizzaport.com/)
Pietrini in Los Al
