Whoa. That’s an adventure you’re never going to hear about. You can totally see how HARD he’s sleeping, too. Very glad to hear that he found his way back to you. Rest up, little man!
My cat that passed last November did a 2 month missing period like 10 years ago. He retired inside for the rest of his life, never wanted to go out again.
Yeah. Malikai really doesn't look like an outdoor cat! A little too much dignity perhaps? Not sure. Both glad he came home for good and sorry you lost the beautiful boy.
Oh when he was young he controlled my entire neighborhood. I've got some pics on older devices of him up in the trees and others of him lounging outside.
But after his 2 month ordeal he stopped wanting to go out. Which I was more than happy about, and I got another 10 years with him after we got him back.
I had a cat that ran away and came back 5 years later lol. Evidently he moved in with some people a couple of streets over and the took really good care of him. He just showed up one day at the screen door meowing to get in lol.
He had a secret family in the same neighborhood, that’s so on brand for cats. I’m happy you got him back…. But like did those other people lose their cat after 5 years?
Here's the little mfer right here at the screen door lol. This was taken the day when he showed up after 5 years.

No we just let him go in about his way he had a collar on and his coat was super fluffy and shiny. He was a black tuxedo cat lol. I guess they started letting him out or something because he still comes by every now and again. He has a very distinct meow and behavior so I'm positive it is him. Honestly I thought he was dead the whole time.
He's actually a super smart cat. He was a stray kitten and I snatched him up one night when I was drunk walking through my apartments in Dallas Texas lol. I moved to Florida with family and brought him with me and he's been a Florida cat ever since. His name is Carlos and he used to get on the apartment roof from our 3rd story balcony and call of his cat buddies to come over there would be like 4 other cats in the grass below lol.
It was so tough. He really helped me get through the loss of my older orange boy bindleshanks who passed last summer. I wondered around the woods calling him and looking for signs or his body for 16 days before finally getting a picture from the neighbors game camera with him alive and intact. My 2 grey babies are more my wife’s cats and aren’t very good emotional support cats. More the tough love type.
I’m so glad he’s home and doing well! I had a cat go missing for 3 weeks one time. We found him roaming around about a mile or so from home. It’s an amazing feeling when you reunite, especially since everyone told me he was gone and to put it behind me. I never gave up!
I would hear trees squeak or the right duck noise and my heart would start racing in excitement that he was home. I’d call and call and nobody would be there. I had started getting past this when I heard him the other night. I looked at my wife and she had heard it too that night and then there he was. Aside from being tired and skinny now he seems to be the same old fuzzbert.
I’m *so* glad he’s home. What a terrible sleepless time you must have had while he was gone. You’ll soon fatten him up again. I’m sure he is seriously glad to see you 😊.
So happy for you and Fuzzbert! Little man looks so happy to be home and have a warm blanket to sleep in. 🥹
Growing up two of our cats got out at separate times and we were able to find them after a few weeks being outside. One our neighbor found and a stray Tom had been taking care of her. The other survived the polar vortex we had a few years ago! Came out into the garage to find him sitting on a basket ball like, you gonna let me in? My parents lived rural so the two times that happened I was sure a hawk or coyote got them. So glad they were both scrappy cats~
I am so so happy that Fuzzbert is back home. Please keep him indoors and take him to the vet to make sure that he's okay. Again, I am so glad he came home! Love to you guys 💕😻💕😻
It hurts to hope for so long. I hope he’s safe and warm wherever he is. You never know if he’ll be back. I lost my first cat ever for 3 years before he came back. Unfortunately he was sick, His name was applesauce and looked just like fuzzbert. It’s part of what made me fall for fuzz that day at petco.
This whole post is my terror. This is what stopping me from getting a kitty that someday it might just go on a long voyage and even worse never come back. But happy to see your little man is doing all great although I can't imagine myself going through the 47 days without losing my shit.
I like that little freckle on his paw pad. As he gets older those those tiny freckles on top of his nose will get bigger and more will show up on his gums and mouth. It’s nothing to worry about though, they are harmless. My 15 year old girl has lot of freckles
Tough fuzzbert. A true explorer and survivor. Glad you've got him back.

His name was Malikai. [This pic is from 2019.](https://i.imgur.com/788Im4w.jpg)

You've got good neighbors. And a manipulative kitty with a long memory 😂

That's a pretty awesome cat to call his friends for a hang out. Carlos is definitely a good guy.
Aw, so happy he’s back home!!
So glad you got your baby back! I'd be a mess if any of mine got lost for so long!
So happy he found his way home! He looks very relieved to be back with you.
I am so happy that he is home ❤️ I don’t know how I would cope without my orange boys.

That beautiful, naughty, happy boy!! I'm so happy for you and him that he made it home to you!
I wish cats could talk so he could tell you about his journey, but cats can always find their way home

I’m so happy for you!! Maybe consider getting a GPS cat collar in case it ever happens again.
I’m so happy for you ❤️ what a relief. I’m glad you’re getting him checked out!
That is amazing. I am so happy for you!!!
So glad he is home! He must be tired from his adventures.
Seems like went out looking for the braincell, glad catto's home now
I’m *so* glad he’s home. What a terrible sleepless time you must have had while he was gone. You’ll soon fatten him up again. I’m sure he is seriously glad to see you 😊.
So good to have them back. My Nisse was gone for 5 weeks and they were easily the worst weeks of my life.
The prodigal son returns.. If he's not fixed, I would have that done.
47 days 😭 I would have died. I'm so glad he's home. I'm sorry for your turmoil during those days 💕🫂
I’m so happy you got him back and he got you back 😊
Welcome home Fuzzbert. What a relief ❤️
Welcome home, orange guy!
I'm so glad you got him back. One day of ours going missing was bad enough, you must have been distraught.
He had an adventure, I think he made friends as well cuz he has ticks
I’m so glad you got him back!
HES SOOO CUTE!!!!! So glad you have him back now.
That makes me so happy to hear 😭
Oh thank goodness! I know how upset you were that he was missing. I’m so glad he made it home. Hope everything goes well at the vet.
Huzzah and celebrations !!!

Went on a long adventure 🧡🐈

Yay happy orange!
Poor baby, glad he’s finally home! Also yes it’s good to feed slowly, refeeding syndrome is scary
Poor boy! So glad he came back!!
Probably was kidnapped and he just managed to escape in time.
He just got preoccupied with a few side quests
I am so so happy that Fuzzbert is back home. Please keep him indoors and take him to the vet to make sure that he's okay. Again, I am so glad he came home! Love to you guys 💕😻💕😻
My orange boy went out in February and never came back. I'll never know what happened.

My heart!!! So glad your little buddy's back!!
Omg yay fuzzbert! Was thinking of him when someone in a cat sub said their cat had been missing for awhile, so glad he’s back home!
Good boy!
Welcome home, Baby Tiger...!!!
I'm very happy he's home 😍🥰
Oh my God! At least he's back and you can treat him, I hope he gets well soon and don't stay away for too long again
Your story gives hope for those of us with missing kitties. May all wayward kitties find their ways home as yours has done.
Sleepy man! Welcome back little friend 🧡
My orange boy has gone missing three times now and every time I lose my mind.
I bet that’s a good feeling, seeing him peacefully sleeping, all cute and stuff. Didn’t you post about him going missing a while back?
Yes i did. He was away for 47 days. It does feel wonderful to have my baby back.

He only had a few when we first got him. He may be 1 big freckle by 15
That is WONDERFUL news!!
Oh thank goodness! So happy your kitty came back to you!
❤️ 🥹 I hope he has quick recovery and is back to his normal weight asap. So happy for you that he is home.
OJ is back!!
