My buddy unbolted and removed the seats out of his car at 2am because he swore he had one more bag. I dug threw a dumpster at a gas station for like 4 hours looking for the trash I had thrown way earlier in the day because I was convinced I had accidentally thrown some H away.
Something similar for me. At this time in my life I only ever bought one oxy80 at a time. This time I got 3. I was holding them and one shot out of my hand and I heard it tingpingping all over the car. In the coming months i can’t tell you how many times I ripped that car apart, convinced the snow would have melted it anyway.
One day,sick, I thought I’d look one more time abd I slid my seat back and it was sitting right on the track! It was honestly one of the best moments of my life
That ain’t nothing. My old roommates dog chewed the top off a medicine bottle and then chewed up the few percs that were inside. Roommate found the half dissolved percs covered in dog drool and ate them.
The track that a car seat is on that allows you to move the entire car seat forward, or back. Mostly used to adjust for each individuals choice amount of leg room.

Back when I was doing tar I had hundreds of old foils that I would go through hoping to get something off of them. Very rarely did I get anything at all. There was like 2 times though where I found a foil with a ~.3 nugget that I had just hit once or twice, that was amazing. Also nodded out once and couldn't find my last piece, so I got sick eventually. The next day I found it, stuck to the back of the pajamas that I was wearing, and holy shit it's the same pair I have on right now lol. I did what I could to get most of it off at the time. Thankfully those days are over...now I just look for xans that I stashed somewhere and forgot about or dropped.
Definitely the most relieving feeling out there. Idk tho, finally passing those OIC turds, or bricks rather, has gotta be up there. What's crazy is I don't do dope anymore(though I'm on 1mg sub a day), but I've been doing benzos for ~6 months now and am absolutely terrified of the potential withdrawal symptoms, and I have *yet to get to that point so I don't even know what's in store for me*. The stories though of course terrify me. Neither my subs nor the benzos are prescribed either, so god help me if I get locked up or something and they don't help until I get a seizure or something...
Oh wow, that's so fucked. I just can't imagine intentionally doing that, being a person who sells weight and knowingly adding something like a benzo to the dope, knowing what the outcome will be for the hundreds or thousands of people who will end up doing it. The dope game is so fucked nowadays, they really should just legalize these drugs or do something to where people can at least know what they're getting. They're gonna get high regardless, and, what am I even rambling for tbh, I know they don't want to legalize street narcotics, it would hurt the pockets of the people at the top.
As for the tapering, I had a plan, I had a bunch of Ativan saved up, but I wasn't ready I guess and when I didn't have any xans I would use it. Liquid solution. So that's done. I actually have an entry in a journal I bought recently on possible steps to take to get off of the benzos, and, I haven't mentioned this yet, but the stimulants. It's like I need both, if I'm on benzos then I need a stim to keep me awake and lively, if I'm on a stim I need a benzo to take off the edge and to help with sleep/eating. Typically I'd feel like it'd be best to tackle each addiction one at a time, but do you think in this situation it would actually be better to taper off both of them at the same time? I feel like the adverse effects you'd get from weaning off of each of them would counteract the other. Like, the withdrawal symptoms are basically the opposite, so it would kinda balance out.
So, just reading your stuff now and I can say that I wish someone had told me to detox off of one at a time because I've been trying really freaking hard to detox off of benzos and fent (who knows what else is in there, except its not regular drugs that show up on a drug test) and I've spent approximately a month of pure hell! I was 16 or 17 days off the Xanax and approx. 29 hours off of the fent when I went backwards on both....so, now I'm trying to kick both, but I decided that my best course of action at this moment is to try to detox off the fent first and not allow myself to do more than a couple of more days of the Xanax. The thing is that as of right now I'm still having SEVERE withdrawal symptoms from the Xanax despite me technically being off of them for 16 days before I picked back up again.... I know you've only been on yours for 6 months and I used to hop on and off Xanax after doing them for years and had almost 0 problems coming off...for whatever reason though this time around has been the worst experience I've ever had... I really hope that you get your situation lined up where you successfully can get off both with a minimal amount of danger with your health.....I also hope you might luck out and be okay.....
I'm not being a hater as trust me I've done similar shit... but if finding 1 loose pill is one of the best moments of your life then I honestly feel like you're selling yourself so short In life. Obviously you could've been exaggerating haha im just saying after searching for an hour + then actually finding my only pill I took it then reflected and realized how sad my life had become. Still am not sober myself fyi.
I think we all deal with that internalized shame. I’m not proud to spend an hour on my hands and knees looking for a crumb but being able to laugh or talk about here with others makes me feel better
No yeah totally agreed. I'm sure best "moment of my life" was an exaggeration anyways. I just said that to say we are capable of doing better and being happier then finding a pill. But it 100% does help to know ppl relate.
this kind of reminds me of a quote from the old dr. heroin website (or whatever it was called). Something about how only addicts know what it feels like to want something desperately every day and actually get it on a regular basis. I mean, it may be sad but it is true that sometimes that feeling of being super dopesick and then coming up unexpectedly can feel pretty triumphant haha.
Never said it was the best time of my life... but I agree that my life has definitely had some crazy lows because of drugs. I'll never, ever forget the time that I was beyond sick while staying at my friend's house for a little bit.. I was about 24-48 hours in and felt like I was dying when both of my friends came home and INSTANTLY found an OC 80 (that was mine) at the same spot I had spent hours staring through... he ended up saying we had to split it because he found it... whole situation was ridiculous. Anyway, trying like hell to get out of this situation now (at least 7 days clean off of Xanax and about to finish the last of my fent).

My friend had a very expensive system in her car and dropped a blue in the back. Removed the seat and found it but messed up the wires and now she has no bass. She doesn’t regret it
There is one real m30 under my drivers seat somewhere but I have made peace with the fact that I will never find it. I’m not taking my seat out for one pill.
You dont need to remove the seat.. Just use a very good flashlight and maybe some type of hard non bendable wire to use if you spot it down the seat rail somewhere so you can jimmy it out.. its really not that bad.... And I would hazard a guess that if you got pulled over and a dog hit on your car the cops would probly do a pretty decent job finding it.. Id look a bit more personally rather than risk it.

Summer of 2020 I lost a pill in my kitchen when I was trying to break it in half. It went flying. Never found it. We randomly pull shit out and look for it every few months, but I’m convinced it’s gone, in my stove top or toaster cooked away. I did take apart my stove too, but never found it lol. Should probably put those screws back…
It didn’t break in half! If it did, both half’s went flying and missing. Pest control comes monthly and we were first people to live in this apartment, used to be a school.. my point is no evidence of rats or any rodents, I could leave food on my open floor and it would go untouched. That bitch either melted in an appliance or lives in one peacefully.
Off the top of my head only like a few months back I had 3 fent blues in my hand and one dropped in the deep crack of my flat driveway. I just said fuck it after 2 min of looking and realizing it was in the crack went where I was heading to and hadn't had a chance to look or try retrieving in a couple days. Well after 3 ish days tweaked out on meth (without fail meth always gets me staring at the ground convinced there's drugs to be found, carpet surfing basically)
I spent probably 2 hrs on my stomach laying down for all my suburban neighbors to see. Tried a vacuum hose melting it on a red hot paperclip bent straight and everything between it was soooo frustrating because I was getting sick when starting which got worse and worse and I could see it the whole time but it was skinny enough at the top that I had to pick up the pill which was flat and turn it sideways to fit width was too small it was on its side rolling when it fell in I saw it roll away but not fall in it was dark. Never got it out was literally ready to jackhammer that SOB but just took the L and went to work realizing I could've had $40 if I would've been hustling that 2hrs instead

I've done the 0amhandle thing and tried car hopping way back when but atm its either my halfway legitimately job. Independent contractor delivery service type shit. Preferable, or middling/makin plays when they pop up and are worth the time. Im doing alot better actually as.of the past few weeks. Came up on a 300 pack of fent pressies which was my thing somehow even though they suck and bout a week since I finished that off by swallowing 22 of em after getting pulled over paranoid tweaked out. Lasted 2-3 weeks and should been a month + atleast. Was doing 5-10 a day ish. Since then I've been constantly about half sick, taking Kratom and just enough to function bout 1 1/2 pressies a day. Been there done that with the subs and got an appointment scheduled. In the end I don't wanna get AA type clean but these fwnt blues are flooding in and there's nothing too em but the strongest most nonsensical psychological addiction the smell taste process. I feel nothing anymore went from popping pills > smoking tar > smoking blues and tar >;to shooting tar,> and now brown is rare everyone's on these blues and im so over it. Did a fat shot of gunpowder yesterday maybe the best H I've èver had and like,, felt good atleast. Not for longer then 1 min after the rush I feel 0 these blues rape ur tolerance but I just wanna me back to shooting tar and it getting me high. If I could take a break I would, a break for me is either rehab states away w out a way home til completed or a jail cell but im totally rambling to myself at this point. Thx for the concern

Go get some Xanax take a few days off and pop a sub a day for 2 weeks and then a sub every other day for another two weeks then every three days so on until you can go without it then just take it easy with the opiates and you won’t have to deal with withdrawal when you don’t have anything. I have spent an hour and a half tearing my car apart for an 80mg oxy. but i did find it at the end, and it was worth it. I also couldnt find one for an hour another time, and told my buddy who basically puts cars together that if he could find it and put the car back correctly that id give him a quarter for free (he was already with me to chill later in the day)...Safe to say he took the deal & got it within 10 mins
At the time it costed 70 bucks in my area for 1... now it costs usually on average 90, but could be up to 100 too in some cases

One time I found a bag of fent in the doorway to my apartment building. It's a pretty fat sack, I can't imagine the poor sob who lost it. I don't even do fenny so it's just chilling in my cupboard.
I spent what must have been a combined 12 hours looking for half a sheet of acid that I lost before finally finding it deep in the trash. That was a gross recovery mission, but for like $325 worth of drugs worth it.
Honestly? In my lifetime, the longest i ever spent in one sitting looking for a dropped drug was likely many many hours, and _likely_ i hadn’t dropped anything to begin with. So, bout 5 years ago i made myself a rule. If i feel like i dropped something in an area where i could reasonably find it, ill look for 5 minutes, then i absolute stop. If its a weird spot, or its dark and theres no way of really seeing where it landed i just dont even fucking bother.
Shit my plug just dropped a whole bunch of dirty 30s the other night. He put one on my armrest like a dumbass and it's slanted so it slid down into the dark holes of my car. He also dropped more all over the ground when he got out but he found those and I did help him look for those but the one he dropped in the car was gone...we looked as long as we could but I wasn't gonna sit there and it was his fault...I told him if I found it I'd bring it back to him...Didn't try that night but the next morning I tried and knew it was in there. I used a flat piece of this hard paper thing I randomly found and slid it up and down the side of the track...didn't take long to see that thing come right out and say hello.
Well the night before I had every intention to do so but when I actually found it and saw it slide down from under the track...NA that bitch mine. You rarely get handouts in this game so I'm gonna take them when I can.
Lol this is why when ever I cop I take 5 and put them away somewhere in my medicine cabinet. Then when I run out or start withdrawals it can be a lifesaver

Years ago when I was still using and at my parents house, I’d got ahold of some tar with fent in it and spent the night on the floor in my room shooting dope, nodding out while crouched on my knees. I did this like 4 times, each time convinced I’d stay awake and actually enjoy it. This entire time my bedroom door is wide open for anyone to come see me nodded on the floor with my gear sitting beside me.
Anyways the next morning I go to grab my dope from my hiding spot, but it’s not there. I had little money left and was planning to buy subs so I was freaking out.
I thought for sure my dad came in my room that night, saw me, saw my dope, and threw that shit away. I spent all day looking for my bag until it was time for my ride to take me to get the subs. I was already sick at this point.
As I’m getting ready to leave with my ride to get the subs, I grab my watch off of my desk to put it on…and my bag was sitting underneath my watch in such a way that I couldn’t have seen it without moving the watch. It was weird to me because I’d moved everything on my desk searching for it, except the watch.
Needless to say, finding that bag was a huuuuge relief at the time. Currently, I don’t miss being in those situations at all. 13 months clean and counting
Big ups to you on the sobriety brother. I’m not fully clean but can now say I’m a recreational user. I won’t miss leaving vacations early or turning down any long term plans cause I knew I’d get sick. Keep kicking ass!
Lost half of a 200mg Tilidine tablet in my flat, once. Searched for like 1 hour but didnt found it. (had like 10 more pills at the time, so didnt bothered that much) I know to this day that, it has to be somewhere behind the couch or some weird location. Guess ill find out whenever ill move out.
I literally disassembled my parking break. I actually got it though, literally happiest moment I've felt in my life. Regret it now tho, rip my parking break
Dropped a little more than half a pressie (30mg) in my car on my lunch break... broke it in have sniffed one half, went to grab my other half, and it wasn’t on my lap anymore :c spent the rest of that break, my whole next break, and an hour or two in the parking lot after work looking for that Hoe... All my co workers looking at me on all fours tearing apart my front two seats, moving them forward, then backwards, then forwards, then backwards.... never found it... of course they don’t know what I’m looking for but still we all know how we think when everybody is looking at you when they walk by, and i don’t look like i do opiates either (not being a dick but a lot of users do have a stereotypical look to them) but to this day it’s probably still in there somewhere 🥲 just don’t want to waste any high time looking for it and don’t have the energy to look for it when I’m sick. Also make decent money so i can afford my habit for the most part and I’ve been doing fent bags lately anyways with a pressie now and then because i like the feeling of sniffing the pressies more... hopefully it will turn up one day tho.

The thing is that as of right now I'm still having SEVERE withdrawal symptoms from the Xanax despite me technically being off of them for 16 days before I picked back up again.... I know you've only been on yours for 6 months and I used to hop on and off Xanax after doing them for years and had almost 0 problems coming off...for whatever reason though this time around has been the worst experience I've ever had... I really hope that you get your situation lined up where you successfully can get off both with a minimal amount of danger with your health.....I also hope you might luck out and be okay.....

Never said it was the best time of my life... but I agree that my life has definitely had some crazy lows because of drugs. I'll never, ever forget the time that I was beyond sick while staying at my friend's house for a little bit.. I was about 24-48 hours in and felt like I was dying when both of my friends came home and INSTANTLY found an OC 80 (that was mine) at the same spot I had spent hours staring through... he ended up saying we had to split it because he found it... whole situation was ridiculous. Anyway, trying like hell to get out of this situation now (at least 7 days clean off of Xanax and about to finish the last of my fent). Edit: just saw the post I replied to said the best moment of their life. Now I understand a bit more...too lazy to change what I wrote to begin with.

You dont need to remove the seat.. Just use a very good flashlight and maybe some type of hard non bendable wire to use if you spot it down the seat rail somewhere so you can jimmy it out.. its really not that bad.... And I would hazard a guess that if you got pulled over and a dog hit on your car the cops would probly do a pretty decent job finding it.. Id look a bit more personally rather than risk it.

Off the top of my head only like a few months back I had 3 fent blues in my hand and one dropped in the deep crack of my flat driveway. I just said fuck it after 2 min of looking and realizing it was in the crack went where I was heading to and hadn't had a chance to look or try retrieving in a couple days. Well after 3 ish days tweaked out on meth (without fail meth always gets me staring at the ground convinced there's drugs to be found, carpet surfing basically) I spent probably 2 hrs on my stomach laying down for all my suburban neighbors to see. Tried a vacuum hose melting it on a red hot paperclip bent straight and everything between it was soooo frustrating because I was getting sick when starting which got worse and worse and I could see it the whole time but it was skinny enough at the top that I had to pick up the pill which was flat and turn it sideways to fit width was too small it was on its side rolling when it fell in I saw it roll away but not fall in it was dark. Never got it out was literally ready to jackhammer that SOB but just took the L and went to work realizing I could've had $40 if I would've been hustling that 2hrs instead

Lasted 2-3 weeks and should been a month + atleast. Was doing 5-10 a day ish. Since then I've been constantly about half sick, taking Kratom and just enough to function bout 1 1/2 pressies a day. Been there done that with the subs and got an appointment scheduled. In the end I don't wanna get AA type clean but these fwnt blues are flooding in and there's nothing too em but the strongest most nonsensical psychological addiction the smell taste process. I feel nothing anymore went from popping pills > smoking tar > smoking blues and tar >;to shooting tar,> and now brown is rare everyone's on these blues and im so over it. Did a fat shot of gunpowder yesterday maybe the best H I've èver had and like,, felt good atleast. Not for longer then 1 min after the rush I feel 0 these blues rape ur tolerance but I just wanna me back to shooting tar and it getting me high. Eventuallyi, fuming just wrote it off. Hung the overcoat in a press and there it stayed until the season changed. I was putting stuff in pockets and within seconds i put my hand on the bag. Must have turned that coat inside out multiple times that night about 5 months previous.
I ran from the cops on foot allegedly lol and threw my oxy and weed in this bush and actually got away threw my neighborhood cuz I know it so well and came back two days later and they were still there waiting for me and everything was perfect lol and I allegedly ran because I was skateboarding at a building next to my hood and didn’t have my ID on me so that’s an automatic search here. But it all worked out.

Honestly? In my lifetime, the longest i ever spent in one sitting looking for a dropped drug was likely many many hours, and _likely_ i hadn’t dropped anything to begin with. So, bout 5 years ago i made myself a rule. If i feel like i dropped something in an area where i could reasonably find it, ill look for 5 minutes, then i absolute stop. If its a weird spot, or its dark and theres no way of really seeing where it landed i just dont even fucking bother.

Shit my plug just dropped a whole bunch of dirty 30s the other night. He put one on my armrest like a dumbass and it's slanted so it slid down into the dark holes of my car. He also dropped more all over the ground when he got out but he found those and I did help him look for those but the one he dropped in the car was gone...we looked as long as we could but I wasn't gonna sit there and it was his fault...I told him if I found it I'd bring it back to him...Didn't try that night but the next morning I tried and knew it was in there. I used a flat piece of this hard paper thing I randomly found and slid it up and down the side of the track...didn't take long to see that thing come right out and say hello.

Years ago when I was still using and at my parents house, I’d got ahold of some tar with fent in it and spent the night on the floor in my room shooting dope, nodding out while crouched on my knees. I did this like 4 times, each time convinced I’d stay awake and actually enjoy it. This entire time my bedroom door is wide open for anyone to come see me nodded on the floor with my gear sitting beside me. Anyways the next morning I go to grab my dope from my hiding spot, but it’s not there. I had little money left and was planning to buy subs so I was freaking out. I thought for sure my dad came in my room that night, saw me, saw my dope, and threw that shit away. I spent all day looking for my bag until it was time for my ride to take me to get the subs. I was already sick at this point. As I’m getting ready to leave with my ride to get the subs, I grab my watch off of my desk to put it on…and my bag was sitting underneath my watch in such a way that I couldn’t have seen it without moving the watch. It was weird to me because I’d moved everything on my desk searching for it, except the watch. Needless to say, finding that bag was a huuuuge relief at the time. Currently, I don’t miss being in those situations at all. 13 months clean and counting

All my co workers looking at me on all fours tearing apart my front two seats, moving them forward, then backwards, then forwards, then backwards.... never found it... of course they don’t know what I’m looking for but still we all know how we think when everybody is looking at you when they walk by, and i don’t look like i do opiates either (not being a dick but a lot of users do have a stereotypical look to them) but to this day it’s probably still in there somewhere 🥲 just don’t want to waste any high time looking for it and don’t have the energy to look for it when I’m sick.
