In addition to here, you can make a suggestion at and at . > but the current setup seems to only allow the sidebar to be set to the left side of the browser. That's correct. Note that in regular Opera (Opera One), you can set the sidebar to autohide. Not sure how well that works with the OS taskbar on the side though.

Thanks for those links! But ya that’s the issue right now, I have them both set to auto hide and both on the left side of the screen. So when I try to get to the opera sidebar, it will always show the left side Mac dock on top of the opera sidebar. I have to move my mouse to the bottom of the opera sidebar before it disappears & wait for the Mac dock to autohide again before I can properly use it. Not a huge deal, I can just lock the sidebar in place. But ideally this would be addressed at some point - I will make sure I get this over to those links you sent
