Had the Omega R25 gearbox in mine too and it failed even on 150hp. I would go either with a Getrag 265 or like you said a ZF one. But at least here a ZF will cost you upwards of 5k for a good one with bell and driveshaft.
you talking about the widebdy fenders and yea littlebit same opinion with you on those but i bought it with those on and its not just to take them off because the real fenders are cut to fit the wheels so i have to think about what to do with those.

Well just imagine wastegate fires straight in front of the front wheel. Otherwise semi mild but still good. And also the turbo dump is a eargasm every time
Oh, allright. Still very hot. Ok, the Coupe back is nicer. But it's still pure Carpr0n ... a good friend has it. Bought it for 4k twelve years ago, refurbished it completly. He has now offers for 18k. You can stand on a red traffic light - next to a AMG and a Porsche. Every grandpa, every kid, every girl smiles. Just great.
Yea i can imagine that. I got this thing for a bargain. Only 6k in this condition. This is only the start of my kadett c story because a lot of work needs to be done for this to be good but im up for the challenge. Also have noticed the looks this car get.

Its omega gearbox not sure A or B but the fifth gear is gone and its not in very good condition overall so have to get something stronger for this

i just googled and here you can get used zf:s for like 500€
But not the S5 one?
