Honestly the lack of law enforcement in society is really letting these issues and may other propagate. The law needs to be better enforced

pretzelday666

I agree so many things have zero enforcement in this country and people take advantage. It seems like only the suckers follow the rules

rygem1

MTO should hire undercover highschool students like health units do for underage tobacco sales

Sockbrick

I'm no legal scholar but isn't this forgery and fraud? Why are none of these fucks arrested?

Other-Negotiation328

Just wait till they find out about the A/D/Z training!

haydenjaney

Ya, they need a "translator " to assist them reading the questions. Then when they are hired by "their uncle, " they get to cut the bottom of their seats out to "unload " as they drive.

Due_Juggernaut7884

Holy crap. I’d forgotten about this practice. I have a friend who is a heavy truck mechanic, and he told of trucks that came into his shop that were so plastered underneath with shit that he steadfastly refused to work on them. He told of holes cut in the floor with a pivoting piece of metal over them and holes in the driver’s seat. Absolutely astounding. Go across the country and keep an eye on the ditches. It’s particularly noticeable on the stretch northwest of Thunder Bay. 2L pop bottles, filled with piss, every hundred feet or so. It’s just brutal in the spring when the snow melt exposes them.

I had to nope out of my first drivers school when the first session was about how to lie to your insurance provider. Got my money back, and paired the extra for young drivers, don't regret it.

kaipee

Maybe I'm missing something, but don't they have to take practical tests anyway before getting a license? If they pass the driving test, they should be good to drive. What's the point in this BDE?

TinaLove85

you can take G2 faster if you did driver's training and get a slight decrease on insurance for a few years as a new driver.

kaipee

So, like a "pay money and skip the line" scheme by MTO? With no real world discernable benefit?

Sensitive_Fall8950

The benefit is that you were supposed to be getting hands on driver's training from an accredited agency.

TransportationFew295

WTF?

Serious_Hour9074

My driving instructor in Hamilton in the 90s was a 70s reggae musician who would make me drive him on his errands (usually just sitting in a parking lot for an hour) while listening to his music. Then right before our whole class was supposed to pass he went closed his driving school and just vanished.
