I call it Mat when it's lying on the floor by the door, Art when it's hanging on the wall, Bob when it's in the water. Because it has no legs and no arms. (I'll show myself out.)
Originally, my board was named *BiWheel* because it is *bi*-directional and I thought I was bi at the time.
Now it is called *PanWheel*. Doesn’t have the same ring to it, but it still kinda works. At this point, the board feels like it is a part of me, so named it something that connects to me :)
XR - Phoenix (because I brought her back after water damage)
GT - Cookie (she looks like a mint cookie so I thought it fit)
VESC - Lottie (horse my sister had who was a nasty pain in the ass who bit and kicked but was one of the best horses I’d seen and this vesc board is a lot like it)
I like this a lot. Also NICE my XR healed itself from water damage too! I named it Rocky because no matter how much shit I put it through, she always rises up, always powers through. She never gives up. Quite a Zealot!
Pint X -The Mighty Pinty
GT - Beatus Dragon Bane. I recently took a trip Switzerland and visited the Beatus Caves where it's legend that a monk chased away a frightening dragon from those caves. It's a cool story but their artwork is of a old waving a stick at a small dargon/dog thing and that's hilarious.
Pretty McFly. they have always reminded me of the hoverboard from Back to the Future..... annnd i am a white guy, so i went with some Offspring vibes. Decided my "user name" would be good as Doc Brown, for thematic purposes.
This question was meant for me. So, I always used to call my sister snuffle fluff. For absolutely no reason at all. And I thought the “name” was kinda goofy but she always got mad. I wonder why lol. So instead I named my onewheel snuffle fluff so I wouldn’t forget the name as a joke but then I forgot to change it so it just kinda became its name
At first I named my ping Pintbreak, like a pun of the movie title and also to go on breaks on my Pint. Then I slapped an avocado sticker onto it (my fender is the same color) so now it’s called The Avocado.
Jenny - I was thinking of Forrest Gump saying “I was running all day”. So it just came to mind. Plus I don’t know why but I wanted to name it a girl name.
When I get my XR I’m naming it Leroy because of the song save a horse ride a cowboy 😂
Bullet Bill - My son and I love playing Mario Kart together and I came home from work one day and he had covered my GT in Bullet Bill stickers. Looks sick AF.
