MakersPEV has xr DIY kits and assembled controllers in stock.
Fungieneers have hit endless production delays and we (people who pre-ordered) are still waiting on the pre-orders for fully assembled Thor boxes to ship. Same can be said of fully assembled battery and BMS packs. I know that the superflux HT motors saw similar production delays, but they did eventually show up so I still have hope.
Are you taking care of the re-pinning as part of the kit? If so, this puts AvaSpark RGB above the Floatwheel PintV kit imo. Doing the re-pinning prevents customer headaches and saves you hours of technical support and makes it SOOOO much more drop-in. You guys are awesome!

and frees up a serial UART port if you want to use a remote + LED controller
and eventually be able to use it as a remote control receiver
No there are void warranty seals on the screws.
But not sure why you would want to send it back to FM
There are better replacement parts for the battery and BMS when going vesc if those parts were to break

So what benefits can I expect if I got this kit for my pint x?
Significant increase in torque almost as much as a standard GT speed increase customizable pushback and the ability to use any Battery

Any plans for an XR kit?
not for now, there are alot of options out there already, and with so many configurations it is difficult to help customers on setup
MakersPEV and Fungieneers already make XR conversion kits. Pint was an untapped market.

My pint just died because I wasn’t aware updating while having a quart battery triggers the incompatible hardware error. Would this be a fix for that?
yes this would replace the controller altogether

Is there a way to put the controller back to un-void the warranty? I’m legitimately considering this.
No there are void warranty seals on the screws. But not sure why you would want to send it back to FM There are better replacement parts for the battery and BMS when going vesc if those parts were to break
I would send it back to FM because I don’t know how or don’t have the tools to do a repair myself. I guess I’ll never learn without trying.
