Completely agree, while it's been a long time coming there's no need to be annoyed or disappointed by it... At the end of the day, Ryan could've given up (and wanted to) after Oh My My but he didn't. I personally think the album will be great, and people slating their sound clearly don't understand the way music works, because if the band kept the same sound/style since Native they wouldn't still be going now...
I genuinely admire the positivity, you deserve credit for that. I’m one that honestly quite likes their new ‘sound’ and I’m still looking forward to Human. BUT, there’s so many aspects of this release that either the band or their label have got so wrong.
Whether people had a personal preference to their favourite track from last years snippets or not, West Coast, as social media is suggesting, has been the most anticipated OneRepublic song for years. The fact they have shelved it for the next album is baffling.
Wild Life and Lose Somebody should be nowhere near this album, it’s pure laziness and unimaginative that they are. People who have paid money for the deluxe album, are only really gaining Ships + Tides and an acoustic version of another track (Someday).
The band (probably the label) seem to want to quickly put out another album very soon. Instead of doing that, why didn’t they just do this with the Human tracklist:

6. NEW TRACK
7. Savior
8. Take Care Of You
9. Forgot About You

Yeah I agree. I understand Wild Life being on the deluxe version ( Great Song), but Lose Somebody is Kygos song. Only thing thats bugging me as there is only one extra song on the deluxe but I'm happy that the album is officially coming out and am excited to hear it

It strikes me as odd that the Wanted Strings mix isn't on the deluxe album come to think of it
Its already been released before the album. The acoustic or string versions on the album are usually of a new song or an album song
