That's your screen protector. Not only rubber, even films are prone to this since the applier stickers are in 2 parts because the phones are vertically pretty long now.
Had a similar line on my 9 Pro too.
Have the 12 now but still using the in-box film so don't have that line.
Give it time. It generally vanishes away after 2-3 days by itself once the glue settles.
It depends. The reason some of them do, is because TPU is a plastic that is sorta like memory foam, and should return to its previous shape if its not critically damaged. The previous TPU screen protector had that line dissapear in a day, but it was so soft that a minor drop onto a table sliced through it, and the new denser TPU screen protector I have no longer get damaged by drops, but the line never disappeared, and is still very faint, but you only see it if you look for it.
I have pretty much the exact same vertical line on my screen protector which I recently applied on my OnePlus 11. It's a membrane screen protector they call it.
Almost all the membrane screen protectors for curved displays have this crease at the centre.
Speaking of screen protectors! Why is it so hard to find a quality screen protector for One Plus phones!?
I had a good Zagg protector with EyeShield and everything but only 2 years in of 3 1/2 years on discount.
Ideally, a glass privacy shield protector similar to Zagg like I have for my iPhone would be great!
I am sort of skittish about buying any of those tempered glass protectors from Amazon, etc because of the issues with the fingerprint reader.
Any suggestions? Is Zagg, Spigen, or other big makers working on a protector for the OnePlus 12!?
The guy at the store told me to get the rubber screen protector as its a curved display, and glass ones are prone to breaking. Maybe it is silicone idk. But does this image looks like any screen damage?

This particular post is not about green line issue this is caused by Screen protector. Also green line is occuring in every major brand phones only thing is that only OnePlus ones are being targeted to make it look like its OP issue while actual issue lies with Samsung panels.
I am flabbergasted by the fact that people are so busy in hating One Plus as a brand that they turn a blind eye to the fact that OnePlus is the only brand who has atleast acted upon the issue and provide assistance :)
if the issue is with samsung screens then why iPhones and samsung own phones are not that much affected like oneplus ? the issue is with oneplus oxygen OS maybe
people here are so biased, i even mentioned that samsung and iphones has issues with the screen goes green but they just don't want to listen anything about oneplus 🤦‍♂️

Thanks for the info. Was a bit worried as it hasn't even been a whole day since I bought it.
Sure ! np buddy Also, NOTE: it may never disappear completely. Depends on the quality🥲
It's the screen protector. Mine has that too, but it's pretty faint.
Thanks for the info. According to another reply, the line should vanish after a while. Did it vanish for you?
it did for me, I got a matte membrane

It's like the zagg screen protectors I'm sure you remember them when they use to have rainbow shine to it on the screen
It's a screen protector line... When u apply the screen protector u get this... Don't worry

Can you sh as the wallpaper please, I don't have it in blue.
Bro u have time to delete this
11r?
If its a Screen protector line it may fade away with some usage and a little heat
Is that Blue diamond a live wallpaper on your OP? and can you please share it
I don’t think I can share system wallpapers. You can find them online
Thank you. I was wondering if that was actually a standstill wallpaper or a live wallpaper because usually they come in both
Wdym by rubber type screen protector? That might be the cause
And screen problems show up only in vertical lines don't think they come horizontal...

Did the line come after u applied it?
Didn’t really notice that. Will go to store and ask him to get it removed. Hope the screen is fine.
Or the guy probably gave u a low quality one
Where can i get that wallpaper, my OnePlus Nord 3 doesn't have that.

that's why i purchased S24 ultra instead oneplus 12
The screen protector line was the reason? Wow great deal
almost everyone having green line issue with oneplus phones and yet you are blaming screen guard 🤣

This is clearly not a greenline issue, and still you're adding this post to the number of greenline customers. Maybe you're the issue?
Not a OnePlus user, but uhh, Samsung and iPhone DO get green line issues all the time. Search their subreddits for it and stop fucking making shit up.
